Create an ebook for free
You might have seen all these posts on social media where people tell you to spend 30 minutes on Canva to create a digital product and to sell it to become rich. I would say that it's maybe more complicated than that to create a digital product but it's definitely possible.
In this video, you will learn step-by-step how to create your personal ebook with tools that are free to use.
The tools I used
- To brainstorm for ideas and to get an outline for the ebook: deepseek.com
- To create the title page: canva.com
- To write the ebook: Openoffice writer
If you want to have a look at the ebook that I have created here the link: The ultimative Hive Creator's Playbook

.I think that is a good way to get started. AI has changed things quite a bit, and I think it can help your proofread everything before you publish it too.
If you really want to, AI can write the ebook from scratch for you but then the quality of the AI isn't that good yet to make the book entertaining to read. That's why I believe that a combination of research over ai and also proofreading by ai can be a real useful way to use this technology in a good and morally defendable way.
With AI, creating an e-book (or researching for any type of longer, structured article) certainly became much easier. My question is... How are e-books doing these days? The reason I'm asking is because it will soon become a norm to use AI, and would be easier to ask an AI than to read an ebook. Not saying it would be better, although in many cases it would... But we know people would prefer the easy way, in general.
It's already ok to publish books on amazon that were created with the help of AI. It's still not ok to copy paste out of chat.gpt but we are not far from it. What I have been thinking in the process of making this video is why we would pay for an ebook when we could actually ask ai to write one for us exactly on the question that we want to answer and read it by ourselves. We will probably have ebooks on demand soon :-)
I've been seeing a lot of stuff like this on social media lately and I'm glad I'm not alone. Yours is not like that but I know a lot of it is scams. They buy an already existing booklet and start reselling it and try to make money off of it. Not all of them are successful and to me it's a kind of Ponzi scheme. I will sell it to you, you will sell it to your friend, he will sell it to his friend and what about the last person who buys it? When there is no one left to sell it or no one interested in it, those people will start complaining with great disappointment.
There are marketplaces where you can purchase ebooks, redesign them and then sell them. A lot of content for sale is definitely not worth of our attention. In addition to that you can see that even on platforms like amazon it starts to be ok to sell ebooks written by AI. We can ask ourselves why we should buy an ebook if we could generate it by AI ourselves and then learn from it...
