A warm greeting to the Open Mic community. This week #249, we explore the theme: \"Travel.\" I am pleased to share my trumpet interpretation of \"Poinciana,\" composed by Nat Simon and Buddy Bernier. This piece of music is a fusion between American jazz and Brazilian bossa nova. The rhythm has a gentle swing and syncopated accents. My favorite version is Nat King Cole's. The lyrics use the flamboyant tree as a metaphor, which is lush and has the purpose of expressing love, passion, nostalgia, and melancholy. I didn't want to spend a week without participating in the community. Even though I've had a busy schedule, between work, studies, and content curations, I wanted to record this beautiful song full of feelings. Life is a journey, and we are the protagonists. We must not forget that we are not alone in this journey, and that success will depend on how we treat others.

\r\n\r\nUn cordial saludo a la comunidad de Open Mic. En esta semana #249, exploramos la tem\u00e1tica: \"Travel\". Tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretaci\u00f3n con la trompeta de , compuesta por Nat Simon y Buddy Bernier. Esta pieza musical es una fusi\u00f3n entre el jazz estadounidense y la bossa nova brasile\u00f1a. El ritmo tiene un suave balanceo y acentos sincopados. Mi versi\u00f3n favorita es la de Nat King Cole. La letra usa como met\u00e1fora el \u00e1rbol de flamboy\u00e1n, el cual es exuberante y tiene como prop\u00f3sito expresar, amor, pasi\u00f3n, nostalgia, y melancol\u00eda. No quer\u00eda pasar una semana sin participar en la comunidad. A pesar de que he tenido la agenda apretada, entre el trabajo, los estudios, y las curaciones de contenido, quise grabar esta hermosa canci\u00f3n llena de sentimientos. La vida es un viaje, y nosotros somos protagonistas. No hay que olvidar que no estamos solos en este viaje, y que el \u00e9xito depender\u00e1 de como tratemos a los dem\u00e1s. \r\n
