\r\n\r\nAunque son considerados como de \"arte menor\", los versos hexas\u00edlabos me parecen, aparte de hermosos, dif\u00edciles de dominar bien. Esta estructura po\u00e9tica es por excelencia la que compone los villancicos, as\u00ed como los aguinaldos, tanto los de Venezuela, como los de Puerto Rico (de los que yo he estudiado).\r\n\r\nHoy es una fecha especial, que m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del car\u00e1cter religioso que pueda tener para algunos, para m\u00ed representa un d\u00eda de amor, de paz, de reflexi\u00f3n, de solidaridad.\r\n\r\nAs\u00ed que mi manera de expresarles a todos ustedes mis mejores deseos en estas fechas navide\u00f1as, es con este poema, que usa esa estructura de los villancicos y por esa raz\u00f3n le coloqu\u00e9 ese t\u00edtulo: Villancico de la Luz, que pudiera ser una continuaci\u00f3n de mi poema anterior, [Villancico de la duda](https://peakd.com/hive-179291/@ylich/hpiugddl).\r\n\r\n\u00a1Reciban un abrazo muy grande, cargado de mis mejores deseos!\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\nAlthough they are considered \"minor art,\" I find hexasyllabic verses, besides being beautiful, quite difficult to master well. This poetic structure is, by excellence, the one that composes villancicos, as well as aguinaldos, both from Venezuela and Puerto Rico (which I have studied).\r\n\r\nToday is a special date, which beyond the religious significance it may have for some, represents for me a day of love, peace, reflection, and solidarity.\r\n\r\nSo, my way of expressing my best wishes to all of you during this Christmas season is with this poem, which uses the structure of Christmas Carols. For that reason, I titled it Villancico de la Luz (Carol about the Light), which could be a continuation of my previous poem, [Villancico de la duda](https://peakd.com/hive-179291/@ylich/hpiugddl).\r\n\r\nReceive a big hug, filled with my best wishes!\r\n

Villancico de la Luz

\r\n\r\n***Son las navidades\r\ntiempo de alegr\u00eda\r\npues con el mes\u00edas\r\nvienen las bondades***\r\n\r\n***El llanto del Ni\u00f1o\r\nenciende la llama\r\ndel alma que clama\r\npor dar su cari\u00f1o***\r\n\r\n***Brilla all\u00e1 en Bel\u00e9n\r\nfulgurante y bella\r\nla luz de la estrella\r\npara nuestro bien***\r\n\r\n***\u00a1Qu\u00e9 felicidad\r\nque recorre el mundo\r\npor ser Navidad!***\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n***It is Christmastime, \r\na time of joy, \r\nfor with the Messiah \r\ncomes the goodness.***\r\n\r\n***The Cry of the Child \r\nignites the flame \r\nof the soul that cries \r\nto give its love.***\r\n\r\n***Shining there in Bethlehem, \r\nbrilliant and beautiful, \r\nthe light of the star \r\nfor our well-being.***\r\n\r\n***What happiness \r\nthis deep love \r\nthat runs through the world \r\nfor being Christmas!***\r\n\r\n
