Travelling to Turkey

Finally, the travel day has arrived, I am so excited. Turkey is one of the places that I have on my list of places to travel in the world and now finally it's getting done. Next week is going to be Ramadan holidays so adding a few days more to that, we planned this 10 days' vacation. Me, hubby and son are all travelling together after 3 years on a holiday and that is exciting for me. Though it is not as rosy as you think also, it gets difficult to manage these 2 men sometimes, and they say the same for me as well...haha. We are already at the airport, check-in formalities are done and now waiting in the lounge, there is still time to board.

Our first destination is Istanbul, where we reach tonight and then spend 3 nights in Istanbul. Actually, it's going to be only 2 full days, because today's day will be done by the time we reach. We will reach by evening, so we will venture out at night and look around. At the end of our trip, we again have one more day in Istanbul, that should be good to cover up the place. From Istanbul we will travel to Cappadocia and 2 night's stay there, this is the place that I have always been in fascination with. It has underground cave houses, which is the major attraction here. Our hotel is also one of the natural underground caves. In Cappadocia we will be doing the Hot air balloon ride as well, as that's again one of the main things to do here. We will practically have 3 days here and then on day 3 late evening we will leave for Antalya.

In Antalya again 3 nights, Antalya has a lot of natural sites, the main one to see are the Duden waterfalls and the Konyaalti beach. On 1 of the days we will also be visiting the Pamukkale thermal pools and Hierapolis ancient city.

I am not sure if I will be making any posts in the next 10 days. I do not want to spend any time online, we have hectic itinerary and most of the time will be outdoors. If I get some leisure time then I may, but otherwise it would be a 10 day break from everything :-) and once I return I will share stories of my journey.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Some of my colleagues have been to Turkey. They say it is very beautiful, so I will wait for your posts about this country. Also from what I know, the Turkish economy has experienced a remarkable growth in the last 10 years, so I think this has also benefited the tourism sector.

Managing two men on a trip hahaha I feel you. Sometimes planning the itinerary is easier than keeping everyone in sync. I hope Cappadocia lives up to the hype, the cave hotels look super cool
