The ride to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise - Part 2
Yesterday I shared my story on climbing up to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise by cable care rides. Today I will like to continue the story and share some more pictures from the cable car ride and then our descent back to Zermatt.
We were very lucky on this day, because when we left in the morning it was a bright sunny day, on reaching the top also the weather was nice, it was bright and sunny. As soon as we came down and reached our hotel it started raining and then got very cloudy, after that there was barely any visibility. In rains we would have not enjoyed up on the mountain and it would had been a total disaster of the day. Felt like the rain Gods were very happy with me to not ruin my journey. After all it was my deep desire to visit the place :-) We were visiting a snowy mountain peak after a very long time and don't know when we would again get a chance to visit here, so in that moment it was like now or never.
After we reached Trockener Steg and changed the cable car to reach the top, we saw that the landscapes had totally changed, there were no more lush green mountains, now there were ice-clad mountains all along till the top. We could also see some lakes on the way.
Finally the Matterhorn peak comes in sight.

And this was while getting down again. I am so happy, I spent such a wonderful time at the peak. I will share that story in a few days.
We are almost down.
Coming down was equally fun as going up, the valley views are stunning. That's the view of Zermatt from top.
After returning back then we walked up to our hotel. I was tired by then and also it started raining, so we preferred to get back to the hotel and take some rest. I will share the the pictures of our time on the mountain in the next few days.

The views at the peak is really captivating, seeing far ahead into the mountain ranges. It would've definitely spoiled the adventure if it rained during the trip, as this would change the mood of the situation. The views coming down from the top is my favorite part :)

Hello, @nainaztengra I hope you enjoyed this experience. It is wonderful that we can start trying things and keeping happy memories for us in the places we go to.
Although this is the first time I have seen this, perhaps because I live in a village where there is nothing like this
