Hump Day Fun [in the Meadows]

It's midweek, whew!

The LilGuy didn't stop yelling at me until I let him out the door and had his fun time outside. It's sunny after all, so why not make the most out of it, especially when rains are expected in a day or two?

So out we went and received more sunshine. He ran toward our messy driveway, and made sure his marked territory was still there and did his ritual, repeatedly peeing on it even when nothing was coming out of his faucet haha!


Then he attempted to run toward the street, but a simple "Let's go" from me made him come back. I wasn't thinking of going on a walk down there because I thought of checking the empty field up the hillside instead.

He disappeared as soon as he sensed we were heading that way. I caught up with him around the shaded corner. I almost cried in despair when he started sniffing, crawling, and burying his head into the dirt and dried leaves, lol!


So I led him to the greener side, where the weeds and grass were thriving. He liked it better, got excited, so much that he was tireless, running, jumping around, even chasing a butterfly (I barely got it on video).


The sun was too bright, and I couldn't see clearly what I was trying to capture, which prompted me to call it a day and go back to the house.

We found some guava trees fruiting near the potato plantation.


After cooling down, the LilGuy had his long bath. Dirt, mud, debris, and such were entangled in his hair, some hiding between his paws and in his nails. Brushing these is my least favorite thing to do, because it tickles him and he dislikes it. He would keep jumping on me, and I'd be all wet (and soapy) before I even finished cleaning him up.

He's quite a handful, and the hubby teased whether I'd be able to manage him and a baby. I wouldn't know, so I'll have to imagine that scene for a while.😅

LilGuy looks like he had the best time with the meadows. Sunshine, dirt, and a butterfly chase, it's Christmas for a dog. The guava trees look amazing too.

Yes ooo today is LilGuy's day hahaha this is so funny how he is running around the grasses and he's really enjoying it 😄🤣

Both humans and animals are much happier when they visit a place with such natural scenery, and when there are clouds in that place, it is even happier to visit that place.
