Hard Choice On Splinterlands - My Last Season On Wild Mode

As Deckard Cain once said... Stay Awhile and Listen! Splinterlands isn't just a game... it's a dynamic universe that has the potential to shape and transform lives. Is it the thrill of battles or the joy of collecting cards!

It's all about synergy! What's in for the battle mages? An infinite challenge to become the best! Endless fights and opportunities to become a better battle mage

However, sometimes we must chose our path! This is why I just finished my last season on Wild mode? Yeah… it’s time to move on! Why? The rewards just don’t hit the same anymore!

Let’s be real...my deck isn’t OG enough to keep up with all the alpha whales running around with maxed-out Untamed and Dice cards. It’s a tough grind for low yield.

Switching to Modern makes way more sense for my setup. That’s where my Rebellion and Conclave Arcana cards actually shine. I’ve got the synergy and the power to climb faster and win more consistently.

At Diamond III on Wild my Glint multiplier was 1.67x and the reward per win was 73! Meanwhile, on Modern Gold III I was earning 149 Glint per win with the 7.12x multiplier. And that was three tiers lower than the wilder option! Make sense?

Modern gives me a level playing field and lets me focus on strategy instead of trying to out-muscle legacy decks. Wild was fun, but it’s time to hustle smart, not hard. Modern mode is where the real value is for my collection now.

Managed to grind my way up to Diamond III on Wild! It wasn't easy feat considering the power gap and some brutal matchups. At the same time, I climbed from Bronze all the way to Gold in Modern, riding the wave with my Rebellion and Conclave Arcana builds.

The Glint rewards this season? Kind of mid overall, and far from crazy. That’s what happens when you split your energy and focus across both formats. I was juggling battles, daily goals, and energy caps, so the rewards got stretched thin.

Two modes means double the grind but not always double the gain. There was a bright side, as I picked up an extra 10,000 Glint for finishing 27th in the Bronze Tier leaderboard.

Not bad for a side hustle on the Modern track. That bonus definitely helped smooth out the season's effort. Next time, I might just go all-in on one format to see if I can really max out the returns.

So far, I’ve battled my way through 470 matches in Modern mode, that number feels insane when you really think about it! But what’s even crazier is that across Wild during my Splinterlands adventures, I’ve played a whopping 35,881 games, with 17,084 wins under my belt.

That’s a whole lot of strategy, risk-taking, and learning from every win and loss. Each battle tells a story, from nail-biting finishes to epic comebacks. It shows just how much time and passion I’ve poured into mastering the game.

With every match, I’ve sharpened my skills, built smarter decks, and learned to adapt to whatever opponents throw my way. These numbers are the proof of the grind, the dedication, and the love for the game.

And honestly, the journey is far from over. Every new game is another chance to rise higher and prove what I’m really made of. Time to get some pickles and the new dragon card available for vouchers!

Which new card available through vouchers? I am talking about the mysterious Tasoshi Drakamoto, a powerful Fire element mage inspired as a tribute to the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto.

This 8-mana card brings a unique mix of abilities that can really change the flow of battle. Tasoshi Drakamoto grants an Inspire ability, giving friendly units a boost in melee attack, and also has Sneak, which targets the last enemy on the battlefield.

As she levels up, she gains a chance to stun opponents and can even counterattack when defeated, making her both a threat and a great support unit. With solid health and shield stats, she’s built to survive and keep fighting.

You can get Tasoshi Drakamoto exclusively in the Splinterlands Voucher Shop for about 250 vouchers per card, which roughly translates to $6.59 or 30 Hive. There’s no limit to how many you can buy, but each purchase comes with a small chance to get a rare black foil or gold foil version.

This card fits especially well in Modern format decks, where her abilities can create strategic advantages without relying on the overwhelming power of legacy cards. I could only afford one... but that's ok!

Tasoshi Drakamoto is definitely a cool new option if you’re looking to add firepower and flair to your collection while enjoying the dynamic battles of Splinterlands. Vonak!

I think I might join you after this season. I just can't compete and although I have the Archamge bot.. I still suck which means it's just not me.. it's my lack of cards lol
