Something Unusual
Throwing or dumping garbage anywhere is punishable by local laws here, so several signboards have been installed in public places, mostly along the roads and streets. Most boards contain common warnings like "NO DUMPING OF GARBAGE HERE!" or "DUMPING OF GARBAGE IN THIS AREA IS PUNISHABLE BY LAW UNDER R.A ___" (I know I had photographed some of them, but I could not find them in my archives).
So, imagine our surprise when this unusual signboard wordings caught our eyes the other day while we were on our way home from the other town.

It's straightforward and critical, almost amusing, but most importantly, it states the truth. Come to think about it, why would anyone discard their trash just about anywhere? The answer is there, whether the guilty admits it or not.
Interestingly, the signboard is found along a residential area. Maybe passersby often toss their trash behind the barrier, so the owner of the house next to it created it to shame throwers right in their faces, lol!
Just my assumptions, though. I think the signboard is unique and creative. It doesn't even look like a warning or an authoritative order; it simply asked a question and stated the answers too. Reverse psychology technique?
Anyway, it's been a wonderful Monday here in DD, and we took advantage of the sunny sky by clearing the piles of laundry in the morning and then installing the new netting over our small greenhouse.

Well, the hubby did the most work, and all I have done is bathe the LilGuy around midday after allowing him to play in the yard, where he repeatedly marked his territory.
Alas! A fulfilling day, 'coz we ticked off what had been on our list for weeks, which had been put on hold due to the weather disturbances we had previously. Now, with plenty of sunshine, it feels like summer. Yay!
"Don't be overly expectant that the sky stays like this for long," the hubby teased. Accordingly, the weather bureau is monitoring an LPA near PAR. Not so soon, I hoped. Because we are loving these bright and warmer days.🙏

Well some people really need a blunt reminder before they stop littering. Signs like that make harder impact than official warnings sometimes.
That's true. Some simply don't care and do what they wish. Thankfully, not many of such around here :)
Thankfully 🥰🙏
If an unruly person throws trash on the street, others will also throw trash there.
In Myanmar, there are often large piles of garbage where signs prohibiting littering are posted.
If everybody have good morals and discipline, there is no need to write a ban on littering anywhere.

It's ironic how some people behave at times. Whilst others are doing their part, others just can't be bothered.

Here too is not allowed to dump garbage around, there are no more general bins but everyone has its own for every different kind of garbage (paper, plastic etc)... I guess some people can't be arsed to be civil and differentiate
It's the same for us. Garbage should be segregated into its respective categories. Some people are still stubborn.
Been waiting for sun for forever 😭😭
Hope my skies are next..
Sorry to hear. Sending you some sunshine ;)
Sana matunaw pa yung LPA sis. Hindi pa naka recover Yung IBA😐
Hoping nga sis. Para naman makahinga mga tao.
The signboard is indeed creative and interesting. I like the idea but I think it can't change he thought of idle people. Strict law is needed.

Some people are stubborn when it comes to their litter. Thankfully, people in our place are more disciplined :)
