Sunset, Trims & Such

We had a really gorgeous sunset today. Mother Nature never ceases to surprise us with its beauty.
It was drizzly most of the day, so who would have thought it would end so warmly? I certainly didn't, but I'm glad it did. I went out early in the evening and couldn't help but gasp in wonderment.
Anyway, we didn't have any plans to go out during the day, except to take Yongi for some outdoor fun, but the wet weather stopped us from doing so.
And he seemed not to be in the mood either, because he went into "snoozy mode" after breakfast, which isn't surprising. He tends to be sleepy most of the time, especially when it's cold. It's like he hadn't been having restful nights.
So it was another indoor weekend for us, but not a lazy one, nor as hectic as yesterday, just a bit of hammering, screwing, and such (it was intentional not to exhaust myself in successive days). Guess that's the beauty of living simply.
And oh yeah, I even had time to trim the LilGuy's face hair to show a bit more of his eyes. He doesn't really like being groomed, so it takes a lot of patience and time, because he moves a lot and even whimpers like someone's hurting him, lol!

He doesn't look happy, does he? He's a little grumpy. It was funny too, that when he saw me with the scissors and his hairbrush, he ran and hid in his cage. I had to go and take him out. He often does that, especially when I tell him it's time to clip his nails.
But at least, he got trimmed, so it's a yay!
Anyhow, before I end this lil diary of mine, let me check the numbers for week 47, for our SSC goals.
Savings increased by 5 HBD (2,268 HBD in the vault). Meanwhile, a tiny amount of sats (1,873) was added to my small stack (284,755). Account HP is just 48 HIVE away from the year-end goal. 169 HP added in the week (29,952).
Yep, it's been a wonderful week and I'm grateful as always.

What a colorful sunset, oh Yongi is looking more beautiful now that the hairs are cut, I guess it was stressing doing that with his noise at if you were beating him 😂 That's a good increase this

Yongi really does not enjoy grooming 😂 I’ve seen pets do the same, run and hide the moment scissors come out. At least the trim makes his eyes pop a bit more such beautiful eyes
He doesn't. And yes, I'm learning from others that their fur babies are the same. Some say their pets hide when they are about to be bathed, lol!
Nice sunset! Here too it's very cold and cloudy, doesn't really promote the outdoor... The lilguy looks pissed off with the cut 🤣

I personally really like sunsets. I’ve been so busy with work that I haven’t had time to watch one, but seeing the sunset in your post truly made my heart happy.
