A Quick Run on a Bright 'Sober Day'

We were having dinner yesterday evening when the lights went out. The strong winds may have triggered the transformers to shut off automatically. It was good, though, it allowed us to hit the bed early.

The typhoon left at dawn. When we woke up in the morning, there was sunshine, lots of it😀 Of course, my soul was pleased, and I felt better. So, we drove to the other town to run some errands. Well, I wasn't the only one excited to feel the warmth of the sun. The LilGuy too!

Half of his body out the window, that's why we always make him wear his vest and leash to keep him safe. There was a time when he fell out of the window while the car was running, and we were just thankful he had his leash on. If not, only God knows what happened.

Anyway, arriving at the other town, we went straight to my sister's workplace to pick up some bulky stuff (cultivator that the hubby ordered online a few days ago), we headed to the welder for the window sill, then to the glass cutter, next was the organic shop for our vegetable supplies, and finally to the paint center.

From there, we headed back home, but first, we stopped by the specialty store for some buko pies and fresh juice. We ditched ice cream for a while now, lol! We pulled over by the roadside to enjoy a few slices before heading home.

It was a quick run, but it was enough to brighten up our day and made us feel sober and kicking. Coming back home, I went on to fix the sunshade net by the porch while the hubby unboxed the new cultivator, assembling it before we had a late lunch.

So yes, it's all good irl!

And because it's sober day (Saturday), it's time to take a quick peek at our numbers on-chain (for our SSC goals as usual).

Savings are now at 2,156 (up by 15 HBD from last week). Not much, as I used some of the liquid to purchase a few more $SURGE. The sats balance remained unchanged (216.4k). HP is at 28,565 (up by 181 HP during the week). With the price of HIVE under 20 cents, it is tempting to acquire more, but I need to save more HBD for an imminent real-life investment.

Will see how the next week goes, but until then, let's enjoy this bright weekend!

Saving HBD for that real life investment while HIVE is cheap is a smart move, liquidity over FOMO fits the plan. The numbers looks tidy too, 181 HP growth and that extra SURGE buy shows steady intent, defnitely not reckless. Also, trading ice cream for buko pie made me smile', small choices keep the day bright :)

Oh wow an other typhoon!

That's dangerous if he fall out of the car window!

What flavor is this cake?

Good thing he wears his vest and leash now; that fall must have been so scary. Seeing him enjoy the wind out the window must make every ride more fun. And I like how you keep track of your Hive goals regularly. Slow but steady progress always pays off, and those extra 181 HP this week are a solid step forward.

It seems like you are well and good and your writing vibes saying me that your are back. I mean mentally. I am just guessing. Correct me if I am wrong.
And What to say, each time before going to sleep I read your post and you share food photographs which is one kind of mental torture for me.
