Weekly Zekely - Fun in the Winter Cold!

zekely5.jpg

It has been a full winter month since the last Zekely Report so let's get to it!

This edition I am on this side of a very cold, snowy and surprisingly-entertaining February.

On the Last Episode...

IMG_4427 (1).jfif

I guess it has been a short February since the last episode. Looking back on the last edition, we were just diving into a long deep freeze with a hell of a lot of snow. You can see a little of said snow in this picture but you are probably wondering what's with all the gaming chairs in the back of the truck?

LANfest!

IMG_4423.JPG

In a tradition that stretches back decades, the guys gathered from across the province with their computers to eat entirely too much food, drink entirely too much beer, and play way too many hours of computer games.

IMG_4425.JPG

On the menu was pizza from scratch in the stone pizza oven. The pizzas only took 3 minutes to cook and we had a literal buffet of pizza ingredients which made for a fantastic pizza bar.

IMG_4666.JPG

Never in all our dozens of LANfests have we had unrestricted access to so many different kinds of draft beer. Sure fridges full of craft beer and even a few that boasted a keg or 2 but never 7 taps of Stout, IPA, Amber, Non-alcoholic Golden Ale, Black Marzen, Chocolate Cherry stout, and guest amber. We finished off 4 kegs and took a run at the others.

IMG_4428.JPG
One of the guest gamers 3d printed me a Pickle Rick to park on my desk to grin at me through all the work, gaming and Hive.

Winter

IMG_4500.jpg

It certainly was a cold and snowy month. There seemed to be a half dozen blizzards with no thaw in between 3 full weeks of -10 Celsius weather. People had ice dam issues on their roofs with so much snow, and every parking lot seemed half full of plowed snow.

IMG_4559.JPG

The winter doesn't slow down farm operations, especially ones that supply high-quality Canadian Hay like www.newedenhay.com Still visiting the farm in the dead of winter and loading trucks of hay headed for the southern states before the stupid fucking tariff games start.

Music!

IMG_4531 (1).JPG

One of the cool things about winter is a few of the live music venues get a chance to warm up the soft season with live music. The summers are just too busy and profitable without having to bring in live acts so we have some good ones in Feb. This is a Janis Joplin tribute act that was more authentic than I imagined it could have been.

IMG_0789.jpg

Same venue , different room and day though, we gathered for a little live DJ vinyl action. It was the 9-year anniversary show of the Revival Vinyl Society evening where you bring gems in your record collection to have played that night. There was even an awesome cake to commemorate the occasion.

IMG_4606.JPG

Such a special gathering of all the cool kids who like to share music and the fantastic Mista D MCing the evening for the dancing music lovers.

Beer

IMG_4670 (1).JPG

Of course there was beer. Besides LANfest of course, we have resumed our weekly brewing sessions and presently have 200 litres of Amber, IPA, Cream Ale and Red ale fermenting now. If you are a fan of beer, be sure to check out #beersaturday every week as there are plenty of us on Hive and we are headed to week 402.

Until Next Time...

IMG_4674.JPG

The sun has finally made an appearance after a long, grey, cold and snowy February. It holds a little warmth now and has gone down on another edition of the Monthly Zekely.

Here's to the oncoming spring!

Was February as grimly goofy for you as it was here?

This is just awesome man. Pizza, beer, gaming and live music, basically the perfect way to survive a winter like that. Hopefully, spring brings some warmth your way soon

That pizza looks incredibly good! 😋 And to cook in only three minutes? That oven must have been very hot, indeed! Love "live" music shows, so I'm a little jealous here! 😁

@themarkymark: Your Scam Farm Empire with @buildawhale Exposed—When Will You Stop Destroying Hive?”

Meta Description:
Bilpcoin uncovers @themarkymark’s abuse of Hive’s reward system through @buildawhale’s scam farm. The evidence shows years of corruption funded by @blocktrades’ delegations.

To @themarkymark:

You’ve had years to change your ways, yet you continue to exploit Hive’s reward system. Let’s break it down:

1. The Evidence Against You

The blockchain doesn’t lie. Here’s how you’ve been abusing Hive:

a. @buildawhale’s Daily Grift

  • Curation Rewards from Spam Posts:
Over the past 2 hours, @buildawhale generated over 270 HP for spam posts like this.

  • Total Power:
2.4M HP delegated from @blocktrades97% borrowed, not earned. Wallet Proof.

b. Self-Voting and Alt Abuse

c. Years of Corruption:

From vote selling to scam farming, your abuse has gone unchecked.

2. @blocktrades’ Role in Enabling Scams

Why does @blocktrades delegate 2.3M HP to @buildawhale?

  • Delegation Breakdown:
  • Impact on Hive:
These delegations fund spam farms, centralize power, and steal rewards from creators.

3. The Hypocrisy: “Spam Fighter” vs. Scam Farmer

You claim to care about Hive, yet:

  • Enable Scam Farms: @buildawhale floods the blockchain with spam comments.
  • Exploit Poor Users: Use vulnerable creators to promote Hive while silencing critics.
  • Contribute Nothing: Your posts lack substance, yet you attack those exposing corruption.

The Irony:
You lecture about morality while enabling scams. Transactions don’t lie—you’re part of the problem.

4. The Community’s Wake-Up Call

Hive’s integrity is at stake. Every curation reward from @buildawhale’s bot votes:

  • Steals from creators.
  • Centralizes power.
  • Normalizes abuse.

Action Steps:

  1. Audit the Scam: Check @buildawhale’s activity log for spam comments.
  2. Demand Accountability: Ask @blocktrades why he funds scam farms.
  3. Spread Awareness: Share this post and tag honest users.

Final Message to @themarkymark:

Keep pretending you care about Hive while enabling and operating scam farms. The blockchain has already recorded:

The Truth Hurts:
You’re a puppet for scam farms. We’re here to fight for Hive’s integrity.

#HiveBlockchain #ScamFarmsExposed #DownvoteCartel #Bilpcoin #BlockchainTruth

Transactions don’t lie. The evidence is here—investigate it.

Sincerely,
The Bilpcoin Team

With unlimited beer, weed, mushroom chocolates, smoked brisket and a pizza bar. Preferable to mumbling stoners flicking discs around a field like a couple hippies.

Like a dozen of us. Smaller 20-liter kegs though and 4 is the number we finished. The other 4 options took a pounding too.
