You could be aura farming and not even know it
It's the Gen-Alpha idle game, aura farming.
'Aura farming is a slang term describing the act of intentionally performing actions to cultivate an impressive or "cool" public image, often for social validation or online attention. The term combines "aura," referring to the impressive social or "cool" impression a person gives off, with "farming," a gaming concept of repeatedly performing an action to earn points or resources.'*GoogleAI
It's more than just acting cool, it's being a poser.
Intentionally crafting your persona, like a profile.
If you intentionally do things try to craft your persona, you may be aura farming.
Ok but that's just part of life. Learning and practicing, even a Doctor could be aura farming.
'What’s new is how social media, meme culture, and Gen Z/Gen Alpha language have bundled this idea—mixing “aura” (social presence, charisma) with “farming” (gaming term for repeated acts to gain resources or points) to describe an often ironic, self-aware style of coolness, typically shared online.'*P
