Hive HairCut Rule in Effect

According to @ausbitbank's HBD site,
The HBD "Print Rate" has been reduced to 0 %.

"HBD Marketcap is currently 14.948 % of HIVE Marketcap"

When the debt ratio is between 9% 20% and 10% 30%, the blockchain will print HBD on the basis of this formula: HBD print rate = 100% * (10 - debt ratio)

This means that the closer the debt ratio is to 10% 30%, the less HBD will be printed and replaced by more HIVE, until will be HIVE only when the debt ratio reaches 10% 30%. The above rule is often referenced as the "haircut" rule.

What is the reason for the 'print rate' reducing if debt ratio is only 14.948% ?
Seeking clarification because I noticed my rewards were coming in as HIVE and HP.

I suspect a possible Hive price solution may simply be, to save 200M to 1B HBD. Save One Billion HBD By 2050? That sounds like a lot, but if 20k dedicated Hivvers were storing up 173.611/month, or 2084 HBD a year for 24 years, they could reach 50,000 HBD in their accounts over time. This is admittedly a serious commitment to the platform, which is a matter of trust.

Can we trust the HBD contracts?

How much value be stored up in HBD?

Everyone suggests 'we need (to create inflation via DHF internal funding mechanisms) to pay for more marketing' but I think Users just need to respect the chain more. Inflation is when the supply increases, and to offset that inflation we need to add more value to the chain.

How then can we rebuild Hive's valuation back up to $1B ?

With 200m to 1 Billion HBD in user accounts, acting as a stable‑value layer on top of HIVE.

34M HBD is ok but they are rookie numbers, we need to pump those numbers up!

How much is your Hive worth to you? (This is not financial advice or a promise of returns. All investments carry risk, and Hive is inherently volatile, with that risk effectively shared among all users.)

HBD now stops printing when debt reaches 20%.
