8 years and 115K HP [EN/PL]

Eight years ago I created an account and published my first post. It’s hard to say where I would be now if it weren’t for that decision. It was one of the turning points in my life — at least that’s how I see it in retrospect. Blockchain blogging became a great way for me to work on the development of KBK. On top of that, the support from Hive has been a catalyst for the enormous changes that have taken place over the past year.

There is also a strange paradox in the fact that at the moment when the Kingdom is reaching new heights, the price of HIVE is scraping the bottom. Sad, but somehow it doesn’t surprise me. Times are changing. Competition in the crypto market is enormous. Having a good blockchain is no longer enough to attract investors. A huge amount of energy has to be put into promotion. And unfortunately, marketing is something Hive is exceptionally weak at. KBK should have the support of a professional team seriously focused on this area, yet instead we see wasted potential in the actions we undertake. It’s a pity. Still, I hope that eventually this will change.

Anyway, I complained a bit, but overall I’m in good spirits. There are still wonderful people here — usually not the ones who make a lot of noise or draw attention to themselves. Great tools are also being prepared, tailored specifically for the Kingdom. They will be able to be offered to various organizations, because they will genuinely solve their problems. That’s why I decided to power up my account again. It currently holds 115K HP, which places it at rank 185 [edit: 183]. This is the best position I’ve ever managed to reach — although if I’d had a crystal ball, it could have been much better…

8 lat temu założyłem konto i opublikowałem pierwszy post. Trudno powiedzieć, gdzie bym teraz był, gdyby nie tamta decyzja. Był to jeden z punktów zwrotnych w moim życiu. Przynajmniej tak to widzę z perspektywy czasu. Blockchainowe blogowanie stało się dla mnie świetną metodą pracy nad rozwojem KBK. Do tego wszystkiego dochodzi fakt, że wsparcie Hive jest katalizatorem ogromnych zmian, które zaszły w ciągu ostatniego roku.

I jest w tym jakiś niezrozumiały paradoks, że w momencie, w którym Królestwo osiąga nowe szczyty cena HIVE szoruje dno. Smutne, ale jakoś mnie to nie dziwi. Czasy się zmieniają. Konkurencja na rynku krypto jest ogromna. Nie wystarczy mieć dobrego łańcucha bloków, żeby pozyskać inwestorów. Trzeba włożyć ogrom energii w promocję. A marketing to niestety Hive ma wyjątkowo słaby. KBK powinno mieć wsparcie profesjonalnego zespołu zajmującego się na poważnie tym tematem, a zamiast tego jest marnowanie potencjału podejmowanych przez nas działań. Szkoda. Wciąż jednak mam nadzieję, że w końcu się to zmieni.

No nic, trochę ponarzekałem, ale ogólnie jestem dobrej myśli. Wciąż są tu wspaniali ludzie. Choć zwykle to nie oni robią hałas wokół siebie i mało o nich słychać. Przygotowywane są też świetne narzędzia, skrojone specjalnie pod Królestwo. Będzie je można proponować różnym organizacjom, bo realnie rozwiążą ich problemy. Dlatego też postanowiłem znów doładować moje konto. Obecnie ma ono 115K HP, co plasuje je na 185. miejscu [edit: 183]. Jest to najlepsza pozycja, jaką udało mi się osiągnąć, choć gdybym miał szklaną kulę, to mogło być dużo lepiej...
