Whispers of Autumn
In the hush of autumn's breeze,
Where gold and russet softly tease,
The leaves let go in whispered grace,
And twirl in dance through time and space.
The sun dips low, a gentle fire,
Its warmth a fleeting, sweet desire,
As twilight's cloak begins to spread,
A quilt of night with stars widespread.
The cool, crisp air, a fleeting kiss,
Brings memories of moments missed,
Each crackling step, each rustling sound,
Echoes of a world unbound.
In the heart of fall, where shadows play,
The past and present gently sway,
And in the quiet, still and clear,
The whispers of autumn draw near.
