New Photography Milestone Unlocked. 20 million views n Pexels!

I admit that I saw this coming :) I was looking at my pexels views the other day.

It took a few more days until I received this message!

Wow! This is a nice number :) More than 20 million people have viewed my photos!

My photography is mostly landscapes of Crete, Greece, macro or close up shots of nature elements etc. Anything that triggers my imagination, or that is too beautiful for me not to share, you can find either on my hive posts, my pexels page, or in my Instagram.

If you have never heard of Pexels before, it is a website where content creators may share their imagery or videography. Anyone can download and use it in any way they want. If you ask yourself why someone would do that, there are many reasons to choose so. To test your photography skills, to make imagery available worldwide (i.e. from my location), to help other content creators (have you not used free imagery for your posts?) etc.

Pexels also allows the photographers to share their websites and donation links, so they can receive tips by users who use their creations. I was not expecting that, but I have already received a few tips and I consider this a small passive income which is more than welcome :)

For now, I use no strategy at all for the imagery I shoot & share.

And if you are curious to know what I have received donations for, it is mostly one sunset video that gets the most views / downloads / tips! I would never believe it if someone told me that!

I plan to do more with my photos in the next months, so if you got any other ideas to share please let me know!

Wow, congrats. I love photography too. I used to be active on black and white community here on Hive but my Cam went bad. I am looking at getting another soon. This is a great milestone for you. Well done with the great work.
