Greetings Dear Readers;
.
Hope you are well and enjoying fine weather today.
Here's a Principle for us today....'Motivation is an inside job.'....let's give it a look.
This principle applies to one's vocation in life, hobbies, pursuits, etc. Only you...can cause you...can motivate you...to pursue anything. You can be introduced to something new but again it is up to you whether it goes any further. No one can do it for you.
Another Principle on the same subject comes to mind ..'You cannot ride another person's enthusiasms.'...it just does not work that way. For example...If we are going to post at Hive....someone can encourage us, sign us up, make suggestions, etc....but it is up to the individual whether posting will become a reality.
Let's give these Principles a think, shall we.
Wishing you all the best....God's best!
..."For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians2.8,9
It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.
Thank you for dropping by. ^__^

Beautifully said, @bleujay 🌷. That reminder that motivation must come from within really resonates with me. It’s like when I write or post on Hive... encouragement from others is lovely, but the real drive to keep creating has to be mine.
Your tulip shots and watercolour are the perfect visual nudge to keep nurturing that inner spark.
Greetings @curamax ,
Appreciate your kind response to the post's Principle and artworks....thank you!
Yes...that is how I see the Principles....lovely reminders of something we have previously discovered and the opportunity to think on these things once again.
Kindest Regards, Bleujay
Always a pleasure… your principles are great reminders worth revisiting.
Hello @bleujay friend! Your reflection today is beautiful; it's an absolute principle. I've always thought that "where there's a will, there's a way." In fact, it's part of what we call "popular wisdom" here, a saying that goes: "It's useless for others to pull you up, if you don't want to get out of the hole" 🤷♂ On the other hand, you photographed those tulips with supreme harmony! And you painted tulips in a watercolor with delightful drama and visual power!
Thanks for sharing. Have a happy weekend filled with blessings in the company of your loved ones! 🙏

"Motivation is an inside job" is so true, dear @bleujay . ❤️ Motivation, in every part of our life, is something we have to work day by day. Sometimes is a simple job, sometimes is not so simple, but it's always important to do it. ❤️

Hello @bleujay,
Let's say that it was your post that motivated me to write this comment. So external stimulation helped 😉
I always like to combine the popular (proverbs), the divine, and science—to better reflect on whatever it may be.
Neuroscience tells us that motivation has a specific place in our brain, the Striatum.
It functions as a communications center. It is responsible for relaying commands from the prefrontal cortex (where decisions are made) to the basal ganglia (where movements and emotions arise).
Studies were conducted with several people who went to the doctor because they lacked motivation. There was a pattern among them: they all had tiny points of broken vessels in the striatum.
In another type of study, associated with emotional reactions—especially feelings of expectation or excitement—they concluded that the striatum is responsible for translating decisions into actions. In other words, when this region of the brain is not functioning at 100%, we have difficulty transforming our desires/decisions/thoughts into actions.
The good thing about these discoveries in neuroscience is that motivation is something that can be learned and perfected.
Our brain's ability to adapt to stimuli has proven that it is possible to develop our creativity. It has also been discovered that we can stimulate and develop our striatum and, consequently, our motivation.
Thank you for your motivation. Well, my striatum was at 30% today 😁

Hehe, I am motivated always to make the best food possible - you already guessed it, right? 😊 And I am a food lover (motivated to eat), but at least concerning sports, I try to be motivated as well. 😉
Apart from that: very beautiful tulip photos and painting again, @bleujay! 👍

Amazing photographs of this beautiful tulip flowers, I appreciate the setting also, adds a nice contrast :)
This principle explains why change can only come from inside, it is where the real difference can be made, by internally decide to change.

Each of us finds motivation in different places, but once found, it will be the fuel that inspires us to keep going.

Only we know our strengths and weaknesses, at the same time we also know what we can do if we put 100% into the activities we do.

Thank you @geneeverett !
Absolutely. As long as a person can motivate themselves, they will be successful at something. As long as they have ambition for something, they will strive for it. Otherwise, the motivation given by others is temporary. Thank you so much for reminding dear @bleujay

Hello, this is a very relevant topic for me right now. Thank God, I have met several people here who encourage and motivate me. However, as the text said, no one will do it for me. So I work hard and believe that everything will work out. Thank you for your publication 😊

Your painting and images make me miss my tulips as they bloom back in the spring!
'Motivation is an inside job.'
Man is that the truth! I have been considering lately the meaning and power of motivation in context with my kids. Apparently, there is no such thing as lazy anymore. It is unmotivated! I personally think they go hand in hand but like the new light (thanks @princessluv!) of focusing on the solution (motivation) rather than the issue (laziness.)
Faith, soul and spirit are intangible things but can power a person through tough times or to great heights. It all has to do with the motivation you can mine from within yourself! Definitely an inside job.
