All this craziness reminds me of a book called The Forever War. One of the first books I ever read, a military science fiction novel from 1975. Spoilers ahead, at some point in the book all of humanity turns gay, which when I was a kid just seemed so random for the plot. After reading it a second time as an adult, I figured it isn't, as it serves a critical role in the story telling..
Or maybe the author, Joe Haldeman, was into something after all. Maybe the future is indeed gay.

I think every human deserves respect. And if a person present herself to the world as being a He/ She, for me it is enough. I think it is upside-down to judge or dig into someone's personal affairs.

And that's where we are literally heading. We took "respect" to a whole new level and altered reality. With ridiculous results. What exactly is "unfair" about this? It's not like in sports where women with a transgender history may arguably have an advantage over women without a transgender history. It is a beauty contest and I do think she is pretty and she has the looks of a woman.

Folks are so threatened and worked up for nothing. One of my best friend’s sisters transition and is now my friend’s brother. And one of my husband’s cousins went from male to female. Sure it is kind of weird at first. But the change didn’t make them bad people, or disgusting, or unworthy of love or some vomit worthy woke elitest propaganda tool. I think people are getting mad because they have been told to get mad. Homosexuals and transgender folks should have every right to live a life where they can honestly be themselves. Where they can participate in activities they find fun/rewarding/interesting. To use a restroom in a public space. To receive compassionate and comprehensive medical care. To be at their partner’s side as family/next of kin during end of life situation at hospitals. For decades/generations up until quite recently homosexuals were arrested for being homosexual. They were denied jobs. They had to hide their lives and their loves. They were denied the right to make medical decisions for their life partners. They couldn’t share life insurance on family plans. All kinds of things straight people could always do. Now they’ve finally been awarded some openness and opportunity that the rest of us have always had and people get pissed. I think the folks who scream the loudest about wokeness and sjw should take a look in the mirror and think about what propaganda is driving their anger.
