Nando Strikes & Yongi's Lil Antics

The new week was welcomed with heavy rains and strong gusts, caused by the 14th tropical cyclone of the year, Super Typhoon Nando. Along with Habagat (SouthWest Monsoon), they have intensified and are now ravaging the highlands, spreading havoc in their path and threatening both Northern and Central Luzon. Our region is currently under Signal Number 2, and it is strong, so it must be a lot scarier in places with higher typhoon and wind signals.

There are landslides and rockslides on major highways, making them impassable. There have already been reported incidents, and people are reminded to stay vigilant.

So, while we planned to go out of town during the day, we decided to postpone it (for safety reasons), and spent most of our time staying warm and dry indoors.

The LilGuy had a lot of snoozing, too! Under my computer table (where I draped a thin blanket on my legs to keep them warm, but he made it his comfortable sleeping area in the afternoon).

He loves resting his chin or head on my legs and feet. He moved places often, spending time in bed, in my arms (most of the morning), and on the floor.

When he isn't on my lap, he squeezes himself between the chair and my back and sleeps there while I do my thing on the computer.

He owns most spots in our small abode, lol! But he tends to stay so close to where I am. Even when I am in the kitchen cooking, he'd be there, sitting quietly near my feet. And I often step on his tail, not knowing he was right there. Despite that, he doesn't seem to care.

He also follows me to the restroom, which I believe people with fur babies also experience. We kinda lost our privacy in that regard, haha! The hubby says, Yongi is my boss, and I couldn't say no to most of his demands, especially when he gives me that look which melts my heart so easily😅

Anyway, we failed today in our attempt to trim the hair under his paws. He wouldn't let us. He chose to forego his favorite treat rather than having his hair clipped. Hoping he'll be in a better mood tomorrow and allow us by then.
