Monday's Walk

Magandang buhay!

Monday brought us gorgeous weather, so we were out for a walk around midmorning. Since there are no parks in DD, we headed to the street with my phone and an umbrella. I didn't even put a leash on the little guy, thinking we wouldn't meet anyone. That was a big mistake because we encountered a man along the way. Yongi chased him and unleashed his deafening bow-wow-wow.

I was a bit embarrassed, so I mumbled an apology while taking my furball away. The man was laughing, saying, "What a brave little fella." Well, he wasn't the first to say so. Small dogs tend to bark the loudest😅

Anyway, we returned to the house for his leash and then retraced our way to the street, where he ran, sniffed, peed, and such. He even stepped in the mud. How fun that must be!

I reckoned the concrete road was hot for his little feet, so we detoured and took the farm route instead. He loved it there, pulling leading me wherever he wished to go.

We rested at the boundary, overlooking small fields growing cabbages. The sky was a gorgeous blue with really white voluminous clouds, like they were nestled atop the mountains.

We took more steps (I should have switched on the Actifit App). The LilGuy was pulling me everywhere - between the grass, weeds, coriander, and what else. He was panting hard after a while, so we rested again.

His nose picked up some dirt. Aah, the joy of sniffing too much, lol!

We felt thirsty, which was our cue to head back home since we didn't bring drinking water. Besides, it was already past 11 in the morning.

Took a few snapshots of flowering potatoes on our way.

Then came the dreaded bathing time, lol! Dirt and particles entangled in his hair and mud on his nails, yikes! And it doesn't help that he complains (small little cries) when being brushed. I guess it was his way of saying "Mum, it tickles!"

We had a light lunch at 2, took a nap after, and then drafted this at 6. "I'm coming home late," the hubby said. "How late?" I asked. "8 or 9," he replied.

So, it's only me and the little guy for dinner. Okay, it's time to prepare some good food then!

No, the potatoes are not wild, and they were not in the street. We passed by them at the farms :)

Oo sis, at least umaaraw na lately. Nada-dry na rin yung lupa na noon ay palaging basa.

Oo, may ibang variety ng patatas na namumunga, puti or purple

Hehe. Lit Guy getting naughty. I would be afraid if such a thing happened with me.

In the last picture Lil Guy, Lil Guy looks very cute.

I was actually afraid he would bite the man; fortunately, he didn't.

It's obvious Yongi had a great walk, dogs love it so much ;)
If he loves outdoors, he should equally love taking baths.... Hahaha.

He sure did. He loves the baths, but hates the blow-drying time 😅

Every time we walk with our dog and see beautiful views, this time is even more memorable.
