Pope Francis has Died on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025
"At 9:45 AM, Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church, announced the death of Pope Francis from the Casa Santa Marta with these words:
"Dearest brothers and sisters, with deep sorrow I must announce the death of our Holy Father Francis. At 7:35 this morning, the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the house of the Father. His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and of His Church. He taught us to live the values of the Gospel with fidelity, courage, and universal love, especially in favor of the poorest and most marginalized. With immense gratitude for his example as a true disciple of the Lord Jesus, we commend the soul of Pope Francis to the infinite merciful love of the One and Triune God."
My deepest condolences to the many people that considered Pope Francis to be a spiritual leader.
He passed just after Easter, right after the resurrection was celebrated. Whether it’s a coincidence or something more, it's meaningful.
It is surely meaningful to millions.

Pope was I'll for a while, seems like a good time to engineer his exit so it has a ring to it in the ears of the faithful.
Certainly the timing does ring bells to the faithful. It's impossible to imagine a more significant date for the passing of a Pope than Easter, if engineering such conspiracies is a thing.

I remember that the American Puritans fled religious persecution by the British king and the Catholic Pope, came to the New World, and founded America!
I remember the crimes committed by the kings and popes of Europe over a long period of time. So, I guessed that you distrust the kings and popes of Europe!
I consider the Pope one of the leaders of Christianity!
I believe he can make mistakes because he is human!
I respect him for the fact that he has remained single his entire life and devoted himself to God!

No, it would never have occurred to me had I not read other's speculating about that. I am very gullible though, and am always surprised to learn about conspiracies, oddly enough. However, when I do learn about them, I do keep in mind what that tells me about the character of them as do such things, and you're right, I don't trust them.
