Getting there...!
I knew it would happen... as the end of my nearly full-time work term gets closer and closer the full-time working dayz seem longer and longer....
Objectively of course the dayz are no longer than previously, but subjectively the drag, and oh man this last Tuesday and Wednesday have felt especially looooong!
It's possibly not helped by the fact that I've pretty well disciplined these last few weeks, no bevies at the end of a long day, just home and work-out and eat and then tidy the house.
And I've been sticking to the intermittent fasting so I've been HUNGRY for half of these long dayz.
It's not so bad when I have a day at home on Monday, or my technical half day Thursday, or even Friday in job 1, but it's job 2 that's the killer, the one I am quitting in just three weeks from now...
Only three weeks to go...
Of FTW, or Full Time Work, and I've only got THREE killer days left when I'm purely in the office in job 2. The other three days are broken up a bit more with trips out which helps A LOT!
It has just been too much working nearly full-time, and I'll be glad to get back to just 2 days in regular job 1 and then a bit of time working on the old main blog.
I will probably have to pick up a bit more regular work probably as early as August, but I can look forward to a couple of months of serious part-timing at least!
Final thoughts...
Anyways, it's close enough to head down the pub after a brutal week, and not too many to go now!
CHEERS!

3 work days a week is perfect for my schedule and desires
Three days is noice if you can manage on that!
Tuesday was a killer for me, too, dragged on for far too long!
Yes those mid-weeks! Urrgh
I’ve had one of those weeks to be honest
It's when they all end up being the same, the dayz. urrgu!
I am seriously wondering why I do what I do at times. Yeah it pays the bills, mortgage literally translates as until death. The system needs to change!
Going part time has real appeal, but I'm not sure I can afford to just yet. My other half has made the move, but then got asked to do a couple more days at her old job. After decades of working you just fancy more free time.
It's a natural move as you get close to retirement! But it does depend whether you can actually do your job with fewer hours!
Some people I work with have cut their hours to work less days. It depends on what the employer allows.
Ah yes, there is that factor as well of course! Mine's entirely reasonable!
A bevvy well deserved it sounds. How long have you been doing the IF?
