Open Brain should be good for AI | Cérebro Aberto deve ser bom pra IA [EN/PT]
I confess that when I had the idea to create the Cérebro Aberto (Open Brain) project - https://bit.ly/cerebroaberto - I wasn't thinking about artificial intelligence, Chat GPT, Gemini, Meta AI, Grok, etc., which are all in the public spotlight and hot topics at the moment.
Perhaps the main reason was my addiction to notes, combined with my admiration for Notion, and my immersion in Charmverse, its Web 3 version that also combines a wiki with project management, adding token gates and registrations using cryptocurrency wallets. As I previously published in Portuguese here in Cérebro Aberto, anotações e links compartilhados de forma aberta e colaborativa em web 3.
Now, thinking about it a bit, after spending more time with AIs, agents, and AI resources that are expanding every day and being incorporated into the apps, websites, and digital services we commonly use, I have the impression that an open brain, a digital garden, or a second brain, could be extremely valuable for the efficiency of artificial intelligence.
I remember that long ago, before the current excitement, I was fascinated by the app Replika (https://replika.com), which started out promising to create a replica of each user based on their interaction history, but now promotes itself as an ideal companion for virtual friendship. With open brains shared online, the AI would simply scan and crawl all of each person's texts, notes, links and references to better understand and help their respective authors.
It turns out it wasn't just a coincidence that the AI 2027 study named OpenBrain the fictional AI company used to illustrate the projections. A reckless scenario perhaps, but I imagine we will be forced to learn how to live together (and survive).

Confesso que quando tive a ideia de criar o projeto Cérebro Aberto - https://bit.ly/cerebroaberto - não pensei em inteligência artificial, Chat GPT, Gemini, Meta AI, Grok, etc, que são a moda e o assunto do momento.
Talvez o motivo principal tenha sido mesmo meu vício por anotações somada à admiração pelo Notion, e o mergulho no Charmverse, sua versão web 3 que tb mistura wiki com gerenciamento de projetos adicionando tokens gates e cadastros usando carteiras de criptomoedas. Como publiquei aqui anteriormente em Cérebro Aberto, anotações e links compartilhados de forma aberta e colaborativa em web 3.
Agora pensando um pouco, depois de conviver mais tempo com IAs, agentes e recursos que cada dia se expandem e vem sendo incorporada nos aplicativos, sites e serviços digitais que normalmente utilizamos, tenho a impressão que um cérebro aberto, jardim digital ou segundo cérebro, pode ser de extrema e valiosa utilidade para a eficiência da inteligência artificial.
Lembro que muito tempo atrás, antes da empolgação atual, fiquei fascinado pelo app Replika (https://replika.com), que começou prometendo criar uma réplica de cada usuário, a partir do histórico de interações, mas agora se promove como uma companhia ideal de amizade virtual. Com cérebos abertos e compartilhados online seria só a IA varrer e rastrear todos os textos, anotações, links e referências de cada um para entender e ajudar melhor os respectivos autores.
De repente não foi só coincidência aquele estudo AI 2027 batizar de OpenBrain a empresa de IA fictícia utilizada para exemplificar as projeções. Um cenário temerário talvez mas que imagino vamos ser obrigados a aprender como conviver (e sobreviver).
