Why is Hive special ?

For me, the answer to, "why is Hive special?" lies in how I found it.

Though I can't remember the exact search queries that I used, I looked for something that would pay me to ask questions, give answers, and generally "earn while I learn".

That's why Hive is special.

I think it's because it's a fully integrated, decentralized platform. Unlike Facebook or other platforms, where I wake up one day to find one of my accounts locked and all my data deleted.

Initially, this was due to the free gas fees with the RC system. Several blockchains now have this mechanism and compete with each other in terms of benefits.

The only specialty Hive has left is people and social media. With the social media UI, finding information is easier than through Discord because there are too many people in one server. Sometimes people just want to be in a small community or circle and grow according to what they like. If someone just comes to the crowd and chats, sometimes there will be seniority bullying which should be eliminated but still exists today. They don't like new people and assume with negative thoughts (I experienced this when I joined one of the communities). With the social media UI, new members of Hive can choose who they want to interact with and that's cool. Stay positive!

I would not philosophize too much here. I've been online since 1998. That's when I registered my first domain, and it was only eight or nine years ago, I found something that allowed me to do what I wanted. So, I'm blogging about what's happening to me, with some text, photos, and videos, without worrying that someone will cancel my account because I'm bothering them. That's what's happened to me on all social media platforms (except X). And if anyone reads my posts, I'm not doing anything radical.

I really enjoyed this breakdown of hive's uniqueness! It stands out by focusing on decentralization and community-operated development. It is excited to see where the hive goes forward!

It costs me nothing to join in, and it seems like my Hive is increasing even by mostly doing nothing in particular? :)

I think this is the easiest media social for you to get paid. at least to some extent. and you can blog almost anything. ;)

The community makes it special in my opinion. I'd say writing posts here generates a large bulk of token earnings and that in itself makes people more likely to build and grow communities. I don't think I've seen many crypto projects which have as many diverse communities as HIVE does.

The community. There are very interesting projects and people.

I haven't really tried other blockchains, but Hive is special to me because there's so many things to do on Hive and everyone has their own way, be it writing, curating, trading, etc.

Why hive specials and stands out to other blockchain?

I have two answers for this:

1. It is the easiest way to earn something in crypto. You only need to to write or stake, or click something and you start earning something here.
2. Hive is like a miniature of the verse. I learn a lot more on Hive rather than other blockchain, I know what nodes are, I see what whales and orcas do, why most people hate them and many more. I earn more on ETH but lets be honest... I learn nothing there, and when I figure out something, I must keep it for myself because everyone are completely anonymous.

Today, my answer will be short and simple: Hive is special because it is developed and maintained by its own members. Decentralization makes it unique!

For me, what makes Hive special is that no one can delete your account or your content. You can also earn some crypto without having to make an initial investment.

It is special because there is so many information that can be found here. The people, community and how everyone supports one another makes it even more special.

I think Hive is special because here we have the power to decide something, whether it's small or big, we can decide the future of things in a way. It's not like other networks where you just pass the time, here we really live Hive, being part of its history.

Another point I always like to touch on is that here I feel at home, because people love technology, anime, cryptocurrencies, programming, in other words, nerd stuff haha and I love that, I can talk to them without people looking at me suspiciously or like, "I'm talking about technology again", so this is my tribe!

Hive is unique because of its decentralized nature and its focus on empowering contents creators and communities.
What sets it apart is its fast and feeless transactions, as well as its scalability.

Hive is unique due to its decentralization, and it rewards people for being active. I think it works well as I feel that I have an impact here, and I think that the interaction is real.

We can do various things here without anyone dictating - create content, trade, pool assets, etc.

I haven't been on other blockchains before, but I've heard about them, and the downvote system is great and sets Hive apart. Because it makes it harder for spammers and scammers and prevents them from scamming the reward pool.

In my opinion it's because of their Decentralized Communities! We don't see strong members in other chains that really care about others.

Hive's community is a major factor that makes it special. It's a small community but the people tend to care about Hive. There's a massive range of opinions of various topics across our population, and I find it wonderful that anyone can actually express their opinion without being completely censored (i.e. everything remains visible).

That said, the censorship is not completely gone. Users can be downvoted to the degree that their viewpoints are minimally visible except to the most curious of people who dig and scroll. Since there's a unique financial incentive here, that's also a unique form of financial censorship. There's a small number of people who take advantage of this type of censorship (in particular, certain "whales") and bring Hive down to some degree. Their actions become less of a community-directed effort and instead become more personal.

I'll end with a positive note that most people here do, indeed, use their power responsibly. This is a part of the strength of community that was mentioned before. People are generally interested in seeing each other grow and thrive here!

Hive is the only social blockchain that we have so many options to what to do… you can post, do some trading, invest in tokens. It is a whole world and we have this blogging aspect! Oh yeah dont forget the nfts! We also have that!

It's a unique ecosystem providing the opportunity to earn crypto with little or no upfront investment. I started with I think 80 HP and 7200 now, mostly organic!

I had some personal problems and ended up not logging in for the last few days, but I think that the hive is special because of the community, with the community coming together we learn and acquire knowledge.
