The materials used for this activity are very simple and completely recycled materials that I had at home, such as: an old curtain, a piece of jeans fabric, mouse tail strings, stones from bracelets, a large button, scissors, a needle, thread, silicone, white sheets and colored markers.

Los materiales utilizados para esta actividad son muy sencillos y completamente de reciclaje que tenía en casa, tales como: una bambalina vieja, un retazo de tela de jeans, cuerdas de cola de ratón, piedras de pulseras, un botón grande, tijeras, aguja, hilo, silicón, hojas blancas y marcadores de colores.

1- Line the curtain with the jeans fabric, with the help of a needle and thread, sew at the bottom and trim the excess or excess fabric, as I show you below.

1- Forrar con la tela de jeans la bambalina, con ayuda de aguja e hilo coser en la parte inferior y recortar el sobrante o exceso de tela, como te muestro a continuación.

2- The next thing I did was cut 2 ropes of mouse tail long enough, which I folded in half and began to sew at the bottom, so that I would have 4 ropes left in total that would be the four tentacles of the octopus.

2- Lo siguiente que hice fue cortar 2 cuerdas de cola de ratón lo suficientemente largas, las cuales doble a la mitad y comencé a dar costura en la parte inferior, con el fin de que me quedaran 4 cuerdas en total que serían los cuatro tentáculos del pulpo.

3- In each of the ropes you must insert the bracelet stones, the amount that you want to place in them. 3- En cada una de las cuerdas se debe introducir las piedras de pulseras, la cantidad que tú quieras colocar en estas. Al final de cada cuerda realiza un nudo cuidando de que las piedras no se salgan y luego coloca con suficiente silicón el botón en el centro de la pelota forrada de tela; la cual, representa una nariz y dos piedrecillas que sean los ojos.

4- On white recycling sheets I cut out several medium-sized pieces of paper as tokens to place the numbers from 1 to 10 with colorful markers in numbering and also as dots, as shown in the following images:

Doing it several times and repetitively helps the child memorize the numbers.

Hacerlo varias veces y de manera repetitiva hace que el pequeño/a logre memorizar los números.

Benefits of the activity:

• Teaching counting through a toy like this awakens interest in mathematics and the boy or girl learns through play, in an easy, creative and entertaining way.

• Manipulating this learning tool in addition to the mathematical area, works the fine motor skills of the little ones, since their hands are touching, the fingers act as pincers and move the stones in it, giving mobility.

• They learn to follow instructions.

• They are attentive, focused and entertained.

• We develop critical and logical thinking.

• Pronouncing numbers develops your language.

• Basic counting in mathematics leads later to learning problem solving.

Beneficios de la actividad:

• Enseñar a contar a través de un juguete como este, permite despertar el interés por las matemáticas y el niño o niña aprende a través del juego, de manera fácil, creativa y entretenida.

• Manipular esta herramienta de aprendizaje además del área matemática, trabaja la motricidad fina de los pequeños, ya que sus manos están tocando, los dedos a modo de pinza mueven las piedras en este, dando movilidad.

• Aprenden a seguir instrucciones.

• Están atentos, concentrados y entretenidos.

• Desarrollamos el pensamiento crítico y lógico.

• El hecho de pronunciar los números desarrolla su lenguaje.

• El conteo básico en las matemáticas direccionan más adelante a aprender la resolución de problemas.
