Game #1: Match Three / Juego # 1: Tres en línea

Seleccionando un plano de arquitectura, tres capas de precinto de mantequilla para hacer las "X", marcador rojo, regla y tijeras; así como tres aros de juguetes. Elaboré una base o tablero grande de este tradicional juego que más de uno ha jugado en su vida.

Once the three by three board was ready, I placed it on the floor with the X's on one side and the toy rings on the other side (representing the three zeros). There my girls had to try to align their three consecutive symbols, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally, whoever did so won the game.

Una vez listo el tablero de tres por tres lo coloqué en el suelo con las X a un lado y los aros de juguetes al otro lado (en representación de los tres ceros). Allí debían mis niñas tratar de alinear sus tres símbolos consecutivos, bien sea de manera horizontal, vertical o diagonal, quien lo lograba ganaba el juego.

Game #2: Ring Toss / Juego # 2: Lanzamiento de aros

With the help of some cones and rings we played this second game, where from a certain distance each one, respecting their turn, had to throw the number of rings we had to hit the cones. Whoever achieved this activity or the most number of rings in these won.

Con ayuda de unos conos y aros realizamos este segundo juego, donde desde una determinada distancia cada una respetando su turno debían lanzar la cantidad de aros que teníamos para atinar en los conos. Quien lograba esta actividad o la mayor cantidad de aros en estos ganaba.

Game #3: Golf / Juego # 3: Golf

Selecting a club that I had kept at home, some cardboard, gift ribbon, red marker and scissors, I proceeded to make a golf club as shown below to give them a moment of practice in this activity.

Seleccionando un palo que tenía guardado en casa, un poco de cartón, cinta de regalo, marcador rojo y tijeras, procedí a la elaboración de un palo de golf tal como se muestra a continuación para regalarles un momento de práctica de esta actividad.

On the other hand, I made use of three old CD's representing the holes of the golf course and we used a small ball that was among the basket of toys. It was something that as a closing between the other games, they enjoyed the most since they had to control the force to be used on the stick to manage the direction of the ball so that they reached the CD. Activity that in turn allowed them to be very focused and live the experience and learning of a game that they had only seen on television, but that their mom made possible at home.

Por otro lado, hice uso de tres CD´S viejos representando los agujeros del campo de golf y usamos una pequeña pelotita que estaba entre la cesta de juguetes. Fue algo que como cierre entre los otros juegos, más disfrutaron ya que debían controlar la fuerza a emplear en el palo para manejar la dirección de la bola para que estas llegaran al CD. Actividad que les permitió a su vez estar muy concentradas y vivir la experiencia y aprendizaje de un juego que solo habían visto por televisión, pero que su mami lo hizo posible en casa.

Benefit of these activities:

• We give pleasant, dynamic and entertaining moments to our children, where while they play they are learning without them knowing it; an excellent strategy for sowing knowledge.

• We teach to follow instructions of each game.

• Allows children to be focused and attentive, where their minds are working, exercising it in a completely healthy way.

• Strengthens affective ties at home, teamwork, companionship and communication.

• We train motor skills in hands, arms, as well as visual memory.

• It teaches them to be patient and respect game turns.

• Through play, values are learned, such as respect, camaraderie, playing fair, also accepting losses; since what is really important is to play and share with others.

Beneficio de estas actividades:

• Regalamos momentos agradables, dinámicos y entretenidos a nuestros hijos, donde mientras juegan están aprendiendo sin que ellos lo sepan; una excelente estrategia para sembrar conocimientos.

• Enseñamos a seguir instrucciones de cada juego.

• Permite que los niños/a estén concentrados y atentos, donde sus mentes están en funcionamiento ejercitándolo de manera completamente saludable.

• Fortalece lazos afectivos en el hogar, trabajo en equipo, compañerismo y comunicación.

• Entrenamos la motricidad en manos, brazos, así como la memoria visual.

• Les enseña a ser paciente y respetar turnos de juego.

• A través del juego se aprenden valores, como respeto, compañerismo, jugar de manera limpia aceptando también las pérdidas; ya que lo realmente importante es jugar y compartir con otros.
