Who can ever have a positive feeling about a war situation? Personally I feel that wars are nothing but a result of a few people's obsession for power and control and this is exactly what is happening right now. A few leaders from one part of the world suddenly decides to take matters in their hands even though it's not connected to them and the result of it is nothing but major destructions, disruptions and displacements. The war may get over in a month or two but the effect of this war is going to show up for a long long time in every person's life, even if they are not in that particular zone.
Look at Middle East, where one thought was the safest haven on earth is now under war crises. Everything becomes unpredictable in the condition of war and not only the people fighting the war but every single person gets impacted. In a war situation the financial markets crash, the oil prices start soaring up which not only impacts the prices of petrol and diesel but it has a effect on every single commodity. The daily necessities prices go up, there is a steep inflation, and it all depends on which regions are directly and indirectly impacted from the war. The current war is going to impact almost every country in the world, because the strait of Hormuz is the route for majority of the country to Import and Export goods. For those who are not reliant on these shipping routes are the ones who will see lesser impact, provided they are not even dependent on the air routes.
No common person wants a war from any part of the world, but still they happen because a few people at the top decides how the world should operate. They want the world to run on their whims and fancies. The end result of the war is nothing but destruction and disruption. Millions of people have to pay the cost of the war in some or the other way. Even the basic necessities can become luxury as a result of the war for some people.
I would understand a situation of war being done to counter terrorism but a situation of war to gain geopolitical control is nothing but power obsession which at no cost is justified. It only means that the leader is maniac and can go to any extent to show their power. We have heard the impact of World War II with Hitler's obsession and all it brought was huge loss of lives and destruction of infrastructure. The world is much more advanced from then to now and now we have nuclear weapons which can be more devastating and lead to not only destruction but also harm lives for the future generations with the harmful spread of toxicity released from these deadly weapons.
War is never a solution to combat any problem, I do not believe it to be even the last solution. A war in any part of the world is a war on humanity and those carrying it out are no humans.

War is never fun and is very ugly. You can take that from someone who has served in the US Army and seen more war that I ever cared to see. This world is a mess right now with problems everywhere and war will never really go away. There will always be someone trying to gain more power or destroy their enemy. It's the way the world has always been. We've been lucky to avoid another World War, but it's just a matter of time...
Hopefully no one will ever be crazy enough to actually use nuclear weapons, but in this world of ours you can never say never as sad as that is.

True, we should not reach to that stage where we ourselves become threat for humanity. The sad part I always feel for the US army is that they are never fighting for their own country, they are always fighting to fulfill ambitions of a few people on top who wants to gain control over other territories.

I agree, the US and the UK both spend too much time fighting other peoples battles... I hope the world can achieve peace, but won't hold my breath since there is so much greed and hate in the world.

It's terrible how the obsession with power can cause so much damage and destruction. I prefer diplomacy.
It's true, the price of food in my country has increased. I hope this conflict in the Middle East ends very soon.
I don't like spoiled people. I think they were very badly spoiled and should be stopped.
