Hey Girly.... It Wasn't Your Fault.

Hey girl....

How have you been holding up? It was tough then, right? Humph! I know because I was right there with you, every step of the way. For one, I'm aware that sometimes, you wished your growing up days were much better than it was.

I know how it felt transitioning into womanhood all alone, by yourself, with no directive. Remember I was there and could relate with that feeling of loneliness - the distant looks, unspoken words, and that constant yearning for someone to listen.

I could recall how you desperately wished you had someone you could pour your heart out to, someone who would listen to your fears, worries, and thoughts. Someone who would advise you, help you navigate the ups and downs of life, so you don't make mistakes. But unfortunately, there was no one so you bore it all alone.

You didn't have to go through it alone, but you did. So just know that it wasn't your fault.

With no guide or mentor, books became your last resort - bible, novels, magazines, pamphlets, any print material you could lay your hands on. In the pages of these books, you found solace, wisdom, and a sense of direction.

Girl, I'm super proud of you, yes! You know why? You didn't give up on yourself even when it seemed like you were going to be a lone ranger. I love how you learned to rely solely on yourself, be your own support system, your own safe haven. You persevered and made it through, though, not without a few scratches and bruises.

Life's journey is never easy, there's always struggles along the way, so it wasn't your fault

I was there, watching, as you became independent. But, even at that, that independence was sometimes misunderstood and misconstrued as distant or unapproachable. You were called all sort of names - snub, stubborn, proud, but they didn't understand.

It wasn't your fault...

You didn't know how to let people in because no one was there to show you how. You built walls around your heart, to protect yourself from the pain of being unheard.

So you see, you weren't at fault for being distant, you were just protecting yourself, and that's qprioritizing your self care.

Just know that it wasn't your fault. You didn't ask for this journey, but you navigated it with strength and resilience. Your independence was a testament to your courage and will to make it. And you did. You made me proud, over and over again! Love and Hugs, my !

So sorry to hear that you went through this same path. You know life doesn't always give us what we desire. I'm grateful for how far God has brought me and I don't take it for granted.
Best regards.

Through it all, you overcame every phase and now, you are who you are, vibrant, cheery, strong, self reliant and independent.
