Reflection Over The Year

Most times when we think we have figured it all out. When we thought our life is all planned out but then there is a shift and so many things happening at the same time.

I would say my life has been so busy throughout this year and I never had time to actually rest except for late last month and this month I finally got time for myself.

My life was pretty easy. I go to work from Monday to Saturday and on Sunday which I assume to be my free time. I end up using it to take care of some personal things like laundry and other things.

You will say my life was pretty boring, but wasn't boring, rather exhausting. By the time I finished my internship by early February I took like two weeks before I started working in a dental clinic. It was so exhausting at first but I made up my mind to actually learn so 8 months of my life have been about learning, learning and learning before my service called. I chose to go from Monday to Saturday because I didn't want to miss anything at all, I didn't want to miss any case at all and this is my first time devoting so much just to gain more knowledge.

As much as I try to run away from extravagant spending it still came, quarter of the expense went to transportation, medication and food stuff. I couldn't run away from that, it was an everyday thing.
I ran away from parties, any invite was declined by me, I didn't even have the time to do so but I went for some friend's wedding too but I actually made up my mind to actually go but my most expenses came from a family issue. Which was unexpected but I handled it though that was my highest expenses for the year.

Do I regret spending on such? Yes I felt the money would have been useful if I spent it more on getting equipment for setting up a dental clinic.

I know it's a massive project and a gradual one but I'm taking my time to get it one after the other without pressure.

I will say health is underrated, this year have been the highest I have fallen sick, the previous year, I can go almost six months without falling sick but this year it was like I almost fell sick every month and most of the times I stayed home was just to treat myself but I will say Thank God for everything. It has been a good year and I pray the remaining month will be filled with God's protection as we celebrate the season.
