Is the Bitcoin Top Already In, or Is This Just a Trap?✍️

Recently, the crypto market has seen a correction, and many people are starting to believe that Bitcoin has already reached its top. At the same time, whales (big investors) have been selling billions worth of Bitcoin, which has created fear among retail investors. A major narrative is spreading that September could bring a market crash a pattern often seen in previous years. But if everyone already expects a crash, it raises a question, are big players just creating fear to make retail investors sell early? When retail investors panic and exit the market, it gives whales the liquidity they need to exit their own positions at higher prices. Historically, before major market moves, similar fear based news or narratives are pushed to influence retail behavior.

Friends, If we look back, September has often been used as a “bearish narrative,” but markets have recovered soon after. In fact, in many cases, the real bottom is formed in August, and by mid-September, the market begins to recover catching most investors off-guard because they’ve already exited in fear. Currently, people are not talking about “buying the dip” as they usually do during healthy corrections, which suggests that this may not be the actual top yet. Also, Bitcoin dominance is still near its bottom a sign that the market hasn’t topped out completely. Real cycle tops in Bitcoin usually come with a sharp rise in dominance. So, this could just be a phase where fear is being used as a tool to shake out retail investors before the next move up.
