My tortoise is now 2kgs. He's growing up a lot. I've had him for almost two years. In another couple of months, he will be here for two years with me. He's grown a lot. When he first arrived, he could fit into the palms of my hands. Now, I can barely even hold him with one hand.

He's a monster now

He loves to eat a lot. He poops a lot too. The one thing he loves to do if I do not manage to clean his poop on time is to eat some of it. Sometimes, he plays with it, so usually, I spend a lot of time cleaning his shell.

He's pretty big now. I also have a Red Foot tortoise that stays with him.

Both of them enjoyed their meal.

Some mushrooms, veggies, and of course tortoise pellets. They are both heavy eaters. Initially, the Sulcata would bite red foot and I had to separate them but after a while, they got to like each other. They share the same place to sleep and eat. One thing I love about the Red Foot tortoise is the colors on the feed and face.

He is so big already at the moment. He can walk really fast. They are both not slow. They can travel quite a distance.

At times, they can get really dirty with their shells covered in poop. I usually take a toothbrush and slowly brush on their shell till all the poop comes off. It's great to have tortoises as pets. They are very easy to take care of. You'll need to have their enclosure ready first. Then get some lights to heat up the enclosure. They need heat in order for them to digest the food and have proper shell growth.
