There Should Be A Law Against The Number Of Children Per Family In My Country....

What exactly are we doing in this country?

Are we chickens?

It's becoming quite alarming and annoying at the same time...... they seriously need to implement a law against the number of children per family in my country because it's now getting out of control.

We get to see the wealthy men give birth to three children at maximum even when they can take care of Ten children comfortably but then the "Poor ones" who find it difficult to eat three-squared meal a day will be busy giving birth almost every year.

Why on earth will my neighbor who is a keke driver married to a housewife give birth to Six children,did you hear me well, I said Six healthy Children and guess what?

She is currently pregnant with the Seventh child?

Any Reason?

The first child as young as he is around 14years I think is already hawking one goods or another (today it's satchet pure water.... tomorrow, it's orange) when he is meant to be in school learning.

Makes me wonder if there's an award for the lady that delivers the highest number of children or are we all giving birth for fun even at the detriment of our unborn children?

What's really the competition for (Even when Davido told us No Competition in Timeless album or we didn't hear that?)

Now, you get to see this Man at his comfort zone reminding these children that they are the leaders of tomorrow....

Which tomorrow please?

Make it make sense to me please?

When they are hawking instead of going to school?

No doubt... Miracles happen and one way or the other, they might end up becoming the leaders of tomorrow but then is that why you will give birth to children you can't even train up to secondary school?

The next line of action will be to distribute these children to various relatives and the brotherly love these children were meant to develop growing up ends up shattered.

When they've grown up at different locations and finally come back, you see them struggling for lands and you get to ask yourself if these people are actually brothers and sisters of the same parent...

But then you won't blame them since they grew up as strangers...Total strangers and the brotherly love is lacking.

I don't even want to delve into talking about the gross inhumane treatment and child abuse some of these children suffer in the hands of wherever they were taken to because it's a whole subject matter on its own.... It's really sad in all ramifications to give birth to more than you can care for please

It's really high time we ask ourselves questions before we take crucial decisions.

Let's really look down into our conscience and ask ourselves before we give birth....

Can We Give This Child The Best Or Atleast The Basic Requirements (Needs) Of Life?

At any point when our answer Is No, we should try to reconsider.

It's not a competition of who gave birth the most and ladies of my country should know that, please.

Just give birth to the number of children you can take care of...It's always not a matter of how far but a matter of how well.

we don't have a rule to limit the number of children parent has. But we have a program for people to limit up to two kids. But yeah it is up to the parent preference and also their choices. Still, as a parent, we have to know our ability since raising a child is not just about giving birth, but also making sure we prepare the best for them to be independent in the future.

Exactly, that's the point
I don't have a problem with the number of children you gave birth to as far as you could provide them with the required basic needs of life.

It's really so sad seeing children suffer a lot just because parents gave birth to more than they can cater for, so sad

Its common here most have 1-2 children and I think thats more than enough. Also the number of couples without children gets more.
Its mostly people coming from foreign countries wich have more.

But no law here. This would be against all principles of freedom!

Wow I love the your blog.....you really hit the nail on the head ....I can't just believe that some people are still giving birth to the number of children they can't take care of, it's so sad and annoying...... Pls if you want to Start a family try and look at your financial capacity.......and ask yourself how many child can you take good care of before before you start to born child

6 children is actually okay. My dad has 22 kids. I have so many siblings it was difficult differentiating the names of two of them when I was growing up. We Africans don’t seem to see any problem with littering kids even when we’re suffering in abject poverty.

I think the problem with that is that these people do not know about birth control or condoms or planned pregnancies. Most of them are locals or uneducated and according to our cultural ways, bearing children is part of our culture and something we are proud of. That's what I think

I swear, its very annoying seeing the poor give birth like rats every year, and when you'll ask them they'll come up with even more annoying execuss that it is good to give birth to your children at once so that you'll retire Early from giving birth at an early age. Hearing this makes me want to slap them to come back to their sense i will just smile like hegoat and walk away.

Lolzz my neighbor in the next gate deliver 14, she delivered last year, and last i saw her recently she was pregnant again, she dont work her husband is a herbalist that walks from place to place selling drugs. The children be like sand

Next you see them sending the children to all part of the country because it's very obvious they can't cater for those children.

I agree that women should not have babies for the sake of having babies but I also do not believe that what one person does is any business of anyone that has nothing to do with said women.

Considering the economic implications of having many children especially in developing countries, you are making sense. Inflation, small income and lack of jobs are making it hard for many people to feed well. Thats why people with large unplanned family end up making these children suffer from a small age?

If there’s a problem people usually wants to make a law or forbid something. I don’t think that’s right way to deal with some problems. Just my opinion, but you need to educate people in first place. Of course change would come slowly but surely. Another question is how to provide education for everyone.

Well you need only look at the absolute disaster and collapse that’s occurring in China to realize that limiting the number of children per family is an atrocious policy. It’s going to utterly decimate the population in the next two decades or so where there are far more older people than younger people. Who’s going to take care of those older people? Who’s going to work in the hospital and service industries that support and keep them healthy if you have minimal children?

I used to think of limiting the number of kids but that’s crazy propaganda and it’s taken me a while to realize it.
