Out for a quite midweeky sneaky pint or two

To Arthur

So Irish or Gaeilge is the Mother tongue in Ireland, although for the last three or four generations the English languuage has taken hold as the most spoken language and 99% of the population now speak English in daily life with only 1% speaking Irish at home and in day to day life.

We all study Irish for years at school but many still don't end up with a great grasp of the language.

I have been doing a few free evening classes in the village where I live to resurrect my grasp on the language again.

It started in February and today is the final class. It's been fierce enjoyable and I met some lovely people and have enjoyed it.

A few pints tonight with our last lesson which should be fun.

Peace Out

A..... Guinness ...
Always reminds me of O'Neill's pub in London. The irish pub where I got a free drink because my national team beat the england national team in football. 😁

Fantastic!!! Those memories will live on for a lifetime.

I was in Dubrovnik when Croatia beat Germany 3-0.

The atmosphere was unbelievable, it was after my brother's wedding.

O yeah, I remember that. It was pure madness 😁. Small Croatia beat powerfull Germany. People was celebrating all over. I remember one guy random guy just bring a few crates of beer and start giving them.
I hope you had a good time.

I was very young at the time, but loved football and still love football. It was great memories and everyone at the wedding party went crazy afterwards!

The food was amazing too, so many courses!!

O yeah. Food is gret here, but I assume you've only tried a small part of Croatian cuisine. Every region has its own cuisine and they're all different, and they are all excellent.
