Rain and a very big ship
Hello everybody, it's Zack here from Cape Town, South Africa. Today I'm on site by the Binguela Gem, the largest of the diamond mining vessels for the De Beers Corporation, doing offshore diamond mining off the coast of Namibia.
It's a very rainy day today, and we're taking necessary precautions to ensure a safe working environment. All that we need to really worry about is staying dry and maintaining three-point contact.
We'll also be assessing our worksites carefully to avoid any potential hazards. Safety is our top priority, and we're taking all necessary measures to prevent accidents.
Hope you all have a good day. Cheers.
Cheers!

Well that ship looks a lot cleaner and tidier than the rust buckets you usually have to endure ! I'm sure it'll still throw up a few surprises, though... sea water does that.
Indeed. This one is starting to rust. It is newer and there is less of it, but we need to apply preventative maintenance.
Hey friend, could you land a helicopter to bring me a sandwich or some bottled water?🚁 Is that necessary? Feel free 😂

Wow. How I wish I could travel with that ship. When I was young, I used to create a paper boat and put it on a bason and watch it flow and drown. Congratulations on your work.
Thank yo.
Wonderful and interesting, it must be intimidating to be at sea during these days, good post.
Yeah must be. Luckily I do not need to go to sea.
