When we think of God's goodness and mercies over our lives as individuals, we are left with no option but to appreciate God. Our ability to see, breathe, ear, talk, and feel sensations is all by His saving grace. I was just meditating this morning and got to discover how God has been good to me. I thought of the moment i faced difficult challenges, especially when i was involved in a vehicle accident that would have been fatal. How i managed to escape death was all by God's mercies and grace.

The food you ate was what someone ate somewhere that led him/her to their early grave. The route you took while travelling was the same route someone must have taken and had an accident and died. The privilege you've gotten today is likely to have been the prayer point of another person. Many are orphans and destitute, even some are in IDP camps and yet you're moving and living freely. So, the most important gift to you and me is the gift of life. All these are acquisitions so far are attributed to God our Maker. Hence, the more reason for us to appreciate him day in and out. So never stop appreciating your Maker in which ever ways you can.
