A Race To Taste Indian Landrace

Tasting Notes and Aromatics:

I found this strain available at different shops around town, but fortune would smile and pass a chance to puff and pass this grass this weekend when I visited the boys. True to ourselves, we did just that.

North Indian, which also goes by the name Indian Landrace, which refers to a bit of the history of cannabis. According to Leafly, an excellent resource for those shopping or interested in marijuana and its capabilities, a landrace marijuana strain is one of these original strains from the early days of marijuana, and they regularly carry the name of the place they were developed.

Thus, I have reason to believe this strain grown natively in Massachusetts, could be considered an OG strain, something from which years of marijuana science and industry, cultivated modern day, potent flowers.

I was quite surprised, because the kick and whiff from the baggy gave off intense sativa tones. I believe it to be my misinterpretation, because the peppery scent does owe itself to limonene, which I believed to be limited to sativa strains. It seems that you can have a limonene-laced up Indica as well, which is what the boys and I had the pleasure of partaking in.

Effect and Experience:

I enjoyed the same sedation and calmness of an Indica strain, without that all too familiar couch-lock that some good herb might leave you in. In fact, I found myself quite lucid and creative, so much so I was able to photograph the boys diverting themselves with a little game of cards and some friendly wagers.

I didn't realize that one reason we might've behaved better Saturday night over Friday night is due to the fact I had everyone hitting this seductive tree, the Indian Landrace. Now, I came down with a few joints of the Pink Certz I touched upon last week, and I could tell the boys felt that. I mean, look at Jared here.

Yet, the weekend warriors could not be suggested to simmer down with that alone. A second helping of sit-me-down smoking lead these boys to place their bets over poker chips, which came as a surprise.

Mikey stoned, but in the zone.

User Experience and Social Setting:

I was quite surprised to find that I could be smoking but not asleep when it came to Indica strains. Yet, Pink Certz delivered. Now, this author is pleased to present Indian Landrace as another, humble but strong plant to huff if you still want to do stuff. Could you imagine continuing to bluff and bet your way to some cash while smoking? The boys did, but I'll let the pictures say the rest.

An Added Anecdote

But it feels too short to leave it there, so I continue on with a story. I didn't expect to photograph folks, while learning to play Texas Hold'em, while under the effects of that funky stuff, but I wasn't impaired. Maybe I did suffer from some dry mouth, which happens while you catch up, puff and pass but I can't call it a real negative.

Now, I will say, if you're not well, especially with a respiratory affliction, put down the plant. I don't know what possessed Sean to continue snapping the bong with a cough as heavy as his, but I can say I noticed a more agreeable gamer when he was hitting this. The other night, and earlier during the day on Saturday, his disposition could only be described as displeased. He swore at every death in the game, and raised his voice every time something didn't go as planned, which was often.

I let him hit the rest of a joint I rolled; I frankly didn't want it back. His demeanor changed though, after some of this, I'm positive. He didn't do an aboutface, mind you, but he was smiling more when he did accomplish something. It was nice to see. Weed may not be for everyone, but I don't think it's hurt many people. I only try to help when I pass.

But my biggest fear is hope those types of weed will not be harmful for the health

Well, as with anything, moderation is necessary. I would think, with enough care in other regards, smoking occasionally should not present any health issues, that I'm aware of. Now, weed is not without its side effects. People have reported a loss of short-term memory, among other things. I would only expect those consequences of people who smoke considerably though, like Snoop Dogg or Wiz Khalifa.

I’ve never seen this before
There is one particular kind of weed that grows well here. I’d let you know when I see it so I can show you but I don’t know the name

Thanks for heads up! I wasn't even aware of landrace strains, prior to this purchase. The name of the strain pulled me in, and I'd seen it at a couple dispos, here and there. I think I want to explore more about weed history altogether. You ever read about Jack Herer?

You're speaking to one of those people right now! For the stresses of life, the aches of work and exercise, I smoke! For a little flavor to my meals and euphoria when I chat and laugh, I enjoy marijuana!
