Lets start with a health update, almost the opposite of yesterday,

Good news is I have the surgery scheduled for next Tuesday to have the catheter taken out of my arm fortunately there is no swelling or no more swelling and its not red or painful so i'm good with that
Not so good news my Stomach decided to play up yesterday had strong cramps all day but after switching to a clear liquid diet for the day this morning it settled down, will stay on the clear diet for a few more hours at east and see what Dr says

Good Morning, A fun Friday post and this week I am sharing a Lumibricks set I built the recently the Hen House

It was a small little set with just 323 pieces and is part of the farm life series, it may be small but they still managed to include plenty of cool details and some lighting

it was a fun build to do

I pace myself with building these sets now to make the fun last longer and to not run out of space to display them to soon, so I only build I set of bags a day

Let me start with a shot of the finished set

and here is the box it came in, compared to with some of the other sets I have built a small box at the time I thought putting a minifig beside it would give an idea of its size, but i guess unless you have a minifig handy that doesn't really help LOL

the orange bags contain the lights, which wasnt to many in a set this size

If i remember rightly there were 6 set of bags, and each one probably took well les than 30 minutes to put together

here it was after the first set of bags was completed, which was the biggest set of bags

I know some prefer the Minifigs from the big L brand, but i find the lumibricks ones pretty cute and am very happy with them myself, although putting the hands and arms on can be fiddly

and a last shot of some of the details all in all a fun little build only a couple of lights but they add to the look even though my photo doesnt do them justice

wow!! you love toys also..?? i'm saving money now to buy a gundam..i don't know if you now that toy,,they say you need to speed how many hours to assemble that toy.. and i want to experience that..hahha. because one of my favorite toy and to watch is gundam when i was a child..😊

I feel like the Lumibricks minifigs have a lot more details and character to them than the Lego ones. I also think it's interesting how they put all the pieces together for each part like that. I feel like Legos were always a bit more random in how they packaged them.

yeah I feel the same its been years well decades since I did a lego set so cant really compare but very impressed with these sets

Yeah, I haven't bought one in quite some time either. I still have all my old ones down in the basement though.

That is awesome! It may be a smaller set but the details more than make up for the size. It even has the working light, and the figures are really well detailed and cute. Were the tiles preprinted or stickers on this one? I really like the preprinted ones, stickers can be so hard to deal with and over time can start to peel.

That is a great set, I love all the detail!

ohh yeha with my fat fingers which are far from dextrous after having broken them all I struggle witht he stickers LOL

I don't have tiny fingers either, and end up using tweezers to help me put on a lot of stickers so I don't mess them up. Those pre-printed blocks sure make it a lot easier. Especially with your right hand having broken all of those fingers, you must have some nasty arthritis in that hand too!

Good news indeed that the catheter will be coming out, and stomach cramps are never pleasant. I awake with leg cramps at night due to a chronic lack of iron in my body, and so age tends to bring these things upon us.
But such is life as I always say.

yes indeed age is a big factor
funny thought i had this morning for months i was focused so hard loosing weight, finally got to the stage where the Dr said that was enough try to stay at tat weich which was 166lbs, not this past week or two I have lost another 12 lbs

Wow, that is a big drop JJ, and have you had a blood test to check if the iron levels are normal?
I look like a scarecrow, as I have critical low iron levels, and it created anemia. More than half my normal weight has disappeared.

Yeah in hospital they were doing blood tests every day surprising my iron levels did not drop to much

you to take care and look after yourself

Good to see that your iron levels are okay. I see the doctor on a regular basis, and mu problem is that I have to take a handful of pills every day. Thing is that I hate pills.

I am not a fan of pills either luckily for now and hope I am not tempting fate I am only taking 5 pills a day, LUlu on the other hand has about 25 she has to take each day Cheers and !BEER

I hate the things JJ. I hope that you will not get more pills, and we sympathize with Lulu, as it is a real burden to have to take many pills.
