Good Morning, day evening or night depending on when you read this, have a good one

One thing I love catchign when out on photowalks is reflections, especially those on water and that is the focus for todays post, these are shots from v walks some quite recent and one from a while back

Starting with a shot at the port, where i actually walked this morning, and seeing eflections there inspired this post, and also made me realize thtas probably what I like most about taking an early morning walk at the port, with the long exposures I can catch some cool reflections such as in this first shot

NOw that firts shot was not taken today I am importing those photos as I prepare this post
another spot I think I get cool reflection shots of is the Pier at Fort Tabor park, the lights reflecting off the water

and at another spot this is near the boat ramp on Rodent French Blvd here in New Bedford, again an early morning shot, the long exposure freezing the water, and cool reflections of the pier and mast of the yacht

this last shot is the shot froma while back, I havent bene out for a daytime photo walk for weeks, this time of year I like gettign out early heading out well before sunrise and catching some shots and getting a walk in during the blue hour and then catch the colors of sunrise if there are any, and to be honest theres two reasons I like going out at that time, well make it three.

  1. I am an early riser i wake before 4AM every day, so its a good time to start the day for a walk

  2. Doing the walks early i am out and back before my wife wakes up, she can stress out about things and worry about me at times, so walkign while hshe is asleep is less stress for her

and 3. I like the solitude and peace and quiet with hardly nayone else out and about when I am

The second picture looks absolutely spectacular. The combination of the lights and the sunrise on the water is so beautiful, the atmosphere is so peaceful and serene.

That second and third one are gorgeous, nicely done. That first one too has great reflections and the water is just so calm. Then that tree really reflects nicely on the pond. That last one it's just a shame the water wasn't perfectly calm, I love old ships! They are things of beauty. Great job!

Thanks for your feedback, I normally prefer the more mirror like reflections but something about that last one i also liked a kind of surreal feel inthe wter
