On the rocks

On the rocks

Good Morning, wioshing you all a good day

Today I will share a few shots where the focus is on rocks aadmittedly also with some nice sunrise colors, which I have been fortunate enough to catch some nice sunrises recently

these shots are from various walks I have taken recently Starting on the beach at Fort Tabor park and a few of the big rocks there
This time of year I am pretty much doing all my early morning walks here in New Bedford, as the sun rises so early, but as the days slowly get longer I will probably start venturing to other towns and spots a little further from home.

Speaking of gettign my steps in, it was raining this morning, so I was doign my steps in our sunroom, but I guess I got ditracted or wasn't paying attention and endign up stubbing my toes on a little conrete wall that sticks out by the door to headign outside, I kept walking to get my steps in but now as I am sitting at my PC updating this post before sharing it, it is throbbing away and painful to move, hopefully its not broken and wont slow down my walking too muvh, good thing is I have my 10K steps in for today so can take it easy

These are the same rocks on a different day, as you an see the first one was at high tide and the roks are surrounded by water, this next shot is at low tide and you can see all of the rocks

Still at Fort Tabor and on the beach for this next shot, some different rocks and the pier, I have been going to the fort a lot recently, trying to keep to my at least 10k steps before breakfasdt each day and the fort is a good spot for walking both on the beach and walking around the eedge of the park

this next sjhot is from another day I parked at the fort, but walked out and past each beach to a pier there and at the end is this rock wall and the lighthouse in the distance

Ugh, stubbed toes are the worst! I don't know why, but as I get older the pain seems to be more intense whenever I knock them and it seems it takes them longer to heal. If my blood work didn't say otherwise, I would think I was diabetic or something. Anyway, beautiful shots as always. Take it easy!

I was just thinking the same, I thought yesterday it may have bene broken, as I have broken toes before and the pain and swellign yesterday were worse than then, so I went and got it checked, good news is its not broken
this morning its still swollen and the redness and swelling has expanded down my foot fromthe toe, so I sure stubbed it well

NO gettign my steps in today am hobbling about and its clearly an age thing, dang I have to conceed i am gettign old

After sharing todays post going to pop ome Ibuprofen and get on the couch and ice and elevate my foot

Ice is super important you don't want to have a hematoma or anything like that. I could have avoided a lot of pain with my leg if I had promptly iced it when I injured it. I am glad it isn't something more serious for you!

Beautiful photos again!

I was thinking about you and @daveks when shooting a couple sunset shots from the beach this weekend. You have such great shots by the water and he is the king of sunsets.

So glad you take the early shift on these sunrises!

I love the purples in the high tide pictures, that is gorgeous! They're all beautiful!

I hope the toe isn't broken, that would seriously slow you down for quite some time... I hope it's feeling better!

good news it is not broken, but hurts more than when I have broken toes befoe, or maybe I have to concee I am getting older
the swelling is now ont he toe and maybe almost a quarter of that side of my foot,
today will be an ibuprofen ice and elevation today

normally by now I have 10k steps in, today les than 100 LOL

Glad it's not broken, but that still seriously sucks! Until that inflammation calms down you won't be doing much walking! As we get older things just don't bounce back as well or as quickly as when we were young!
