I was just wondering how big Popes Island is and found out the following online
I ws surpised to find out is is a man-made island primarily known for its marina. While the exact size in terms of acres or square miles isn't specified in the search results, it's mentioned that Pope's Island Marina offers 204 boat slips, over 300 moorings, and 810 feet of fixed pier. The island also houses a commercial property with 23,260 square feet of retail/office space on a 2-acre parcel.
and it is in the water between New Bedford POper and Fairhaven, and connected by two bridges one to Fairhaven, and on to Fish Island another small island, which is then connected to New Bedford City by another bridge

And speaking of the marina, ther eis more one than one is Fleet Marina, and then this one which is bigger called Popes Island Marina and mentioned above with 204 boat slips here is a shot of the walkway out to the piers and slips

Past the marina is a green area, with a small dock and a couple of red row boats caught my eye

and if one visits there and wants to take a break thee is this bench and charis where one can sit relax and look across the water to Farihaven

NOw I imagine this big tent structure is the house canoes in the off season as I often see Canoes on these racks or beside this structure
