Before and after 😉

Great sunrise this morning 🙂 Very cold today 9F with negative windchills. But there is hope, its supposed to warm up to 20F today haha

Our walks are a little before dawn during the dark days of winter. We walk past this old farmhouse going to and from the lake. On the way back the sun was coming up.

It was still colorless and gray before light on the way out.

Almost monochrome on the way out.

This old barn was moved when the owners built a new attached garage. It dates to 1800s.

The flag artwork is a nice touch.

Here is the rambling old farmhouse. Lots of old Vermont homes are this way. The old part of the house a simple box then later additions are added. The additions to this home are well done but sometime the newer parts can be a bit haphazard. Function oveer style.
