We love to see art in the sky.
A strange cloud formation travelled across the mountains.

Never seen a cloud formation like this before, and it was stunning.
You have to be a lover of the sky to appreciate the photos below, but if you are not, then I hope to change your mind. Art shows regularly appear in the sky over here, and it's always fabulous to see. If I could paint, then this would be it, as I would feature that cloud in different colors and settings, but no such luck as I cannot paint, even if I tried:) Over the next few days I will be sure to show you some other interesting sights.
But for now, come and have a look at what we have here for you to see.
It looked like a genie that came out of the tree, and this was our first view of it from our home.
And here the genie split in two.
Only to combine again.
Then it started to be on its way across the mountain range.
A closer look at the bottom end of it.
And here, it started to travel over the mountain foothills, and its lost the tail.
Finally, just a wider shot of it on the hills.
It has been a tough year for us here, and across the world and we are tired of facing the constant battles to survive. I hope that you don't feel the same, and if you do then we hope that the December time of celebrations will bring you great relief and rest. Many of us have December holidays that are about four weeks long, but we never take these holidays as I cannot stay longer than three days at any place, so we rather have midweek breaks whenever we possibly can. Never more than 2 midweek breaks per year.
December is also a difficult time for me, as we used to have family gatherings years ago but now, I am the last man standing. Fortunately, my wife still has a big family, and they claim me as their own. There are so many others out in the world that are alone at Christmastime, and we really feel for each of them. Then so many are also sick or battling with different issues, like stress and depression. So, whenever I feel bad, I always remember that there are many others that are worse off than me. It helps to bear the burdens.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

BEER.I enjoyed the clouds. When you said it seemed to look like a genie I immediately imagined the face of Will Smith from the fictional Disney story Aladdin haha. Also I agree with you about feeling bad for oneself. I also think that way. No matter how I thought my current situation is the worst, I would think that I still have to count my blessings because some people out there have life more worse than mine. Some people may have dreamed of the current life I live and that's something to calm me down and reflect. Ourselves and how we think can be the worst enemy or the best friend we could have in this journey we call life. Thanks for the wonderful photos!
Thank you and I read the original Aladdin book a long time ago.
We attended an annual concert by an NGO this week that works with disabled children, and it was so great to listen to some songs that were performed by the children. They will never have a normal life, and then we want to cry about the toughness of our own lives. We are our own worst enemies, and we build our own mental prisons.
Glad that you liked my post.

The photos are excellent. My favorite is the last one. They look like crabs ☺️
Thank you and as long as they don't look like sharks 😜
The sky can be the perfect backdrop or the feature attraction can it not? I always find that when I take pictures of clouds I enjoy, the photos don't do it justice. Yours always seem to work so well with the wide open African sky.
I know Christmas can be tough on some and I just try to stay thoughtful on all of the blessings we have and focus on the happiness I can control. Family is family!
Always great to use the sky as a backdrop and I agree with you. Photos can never compare to what our eyes can see, but yeah, the African sky holds its own beauty that can entrance those of us that love it.
You have a nice way to consider the Christmas event, and it is what it should be. All about love and family.
A great shot of the building with the sky as a backdrop, and I like it.

I agree to you that art shows appear on the sky and it is for free. But it takes a lot of attention to observe it and look closer of the meaning you can give to these clouds. Unfortunately, this cloud formation is always above us so people tend to disregard it while walking outside. You know, it takes talent to observe the little things in life. Like you, who would have taught that the formation could be a genie. I just knew it from you because my first impression is it is a cotton candy. Haha. The clouds are beautiful creation and you captured it with creativity and emphasis. Although this is a photography content, it is not my favorite part, (for now), because what I like the most about this narration is your discussion about December and the challenges we face, causing others to develop stress or worst depression. So, I hope everyone gets a relief and break by December. And oh, a little bit of reminder @papilloncharity, it is okay to feel bad, especially if it is concerning you. Thinking that others have worst than you will not fix what you are experiencing as of the moment. So be ready to sit down with all bad things you are having and care to ask for help. Thank you for sharing this. Photography!❤️
