Not often that we see a Bi-Plane.

At times I get an old WWII bi-plane flying over, but this is a modern one.

You will see some plane and moon shots in here.

The old bi-plane has a loud throbbing sound from its motor, and even sitting in our study, I aften rush outside when I hear that harsh engine sound. But in this case, I was outside just at the right time to see this one coming over, and it didn't introduce itself with a loud sound. I think that it has a different engine, and it also looked much lighter than the old plane.

By now, I think you can see that I prefer to see the old plane, as it has a ton of history behind its old wings. Imagine a plane from the 1940s still flying around nowadays. I will search my files to see if I can get a photo of the old one to share with you.
Age is creating brain fog in my mind, as I used to know all the details of the old bi-plane, but now I cannot remember anything about it.
But come and have a look at this modern one.

I was so hoping that it would fly close to the moon, but as you see below the plane passed way below the moon.

Just imagine what a sight it would be if I can zoom a biplane on the face of the moon.

The plane made a wide turn before it headed back in the direction of our local airfield.

Whenever I step out into our front garden, I always have my camera with me. Just as well, as if I had to rush inside to fetch the camera, I would surely have missed the biplane coming over. Over time I have learned not to take anything for granted, as brief moments in the sky can turn into spectacular sights, if one is at the right place at the right time. It has nothing to do with luck, but rather a great hope of seeing something good.

That hope is accompanied with open eyes, open ears, and one allowing all of the senses to pick up differences and movement in the environment. Even the wind picking up in the trees may be a change in its direction and therefore a shift in the clouds. The sun coming out from behind a cloud may make the skink or lizard to creep out of the shadows and the sunbirds to try out a different flower. The natural grasses of the area picking up the sunlight as they wave in the wind, or the sound of a grasshopper flying up from the gravel as one walks along a country road. It is an alertness to everything that walks with hope through each new day.
