Here he is, the leader of the Baboons.
He rules from a distance, but when he barks, everyone listens.
A big guy this one and he was the only one of this size. I have also placed a short video at the end of the post
Amazing to see as normally in the wild animal kingdom, there are at most times offspring of a similar size as the leader to challenge him. But not in this case, as none of them came close to the leader's size. I think that he has a split personality, as he can be a tyrant, and also a peacemaker. Let's face it, baboon youngsters wrote the lawbook on how to behave, and according to them, they simply love to break every law in the book to show how naughty they can be. Almost like they compete with each other to see who is the naughtiest. The 50 page lawbook has only one sentence in it. "Be as naughty as you can be" :))
The leader can also be very pensive.
He sat on his throne with some of the family members doing their thing on the grass.
Now, here below were some tender moments. The mom and her babies appeared, and the little one tried to clamber up onto the throne.
But no, the bigger one jumped up and pushed the smaller one away. One smack from the leader can send a baby into orbit.
Ah, the leader started a yoga move, and then he dismounted the throne.
Look at this tender moment, as a little one sat watching its leader with love and great respect.
Now that's what I call a humongous yawn.
The big fella fell asleep with no care in the world.
Animals are very intelligent, and something happened that alerted the leader to gather the family and to depart. A white truck drove into the parking lot of the lookout spot, and it seemed to unnerve the baboons. If you watched the video, then you saw leader started to leave and all of the baboons also departing. Where did they go? I don't know, but I bet that it would be higher up into the mountains in the rocks that are inaccessible for mankind to get to them. Most likely at the sea facing side of the mountain. It was so great to have the baboons around, and if one doesn't bother, or try to touch one of the babies, then all will be well.
Such is baboon life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

This is so funny, if there was a yawning competition he would definitely be the winner😂
Every time that I look at that yawn, it makes me sleepy 😜

Lovely story continuing from where we stopped. Animals are intelligent creatures and protect their young.. The baboon on the throne seems to be a good leader admired by all in the park 😁😀
Animals will give their life to protect their children, and although the leader seems to be placid, he can become a holy terror when he attacks threats to his clan.
Woww very cutieee
Will I didn't see that kind of monkey in person and if ever I have a time to see that maybe my soul left my body, like I'm scared though. But the way you take a picture in it, it makes me think that not animals are dangerous maybe if we harm them first.
Oh no, we wouldn't want you to lose your soul, and yes, animals will only attack humans if they feel threatened.
The photos really captured the personality of the baboon leader and his family. I liked how you showed both the funny and tender sides of their behavior. As an animal lover, this post is worth the time.❤️❤️❤️
I post things the way that I see them, and most times it has some or another message for me to share.
In this case it was to show how life was meant to be also for us as humans. Our orphanages are full of cast away children, and no animal will ever desert their children.
