Succulent: #FPC, this weeks theme Green

Another week another photo contest brought to use by @friendlymoose the theme this week being "Green" So......here we go

Just an Aeonium, a succulent plant found in warmer climes like the Canary Isles, or in this case Cornwall, the pointy bit of the UK, which has the best climate in the UK, home to many tropical species.

I shot this on a visit to St. Michael's Mount off the coast at Marazion. Which when I get chance will be uploaded over the next week or so.

Wow, it's so beautiful. At first glance, it looks like a rose that is in full bloom. The edges of the leaves decorated with red color successfully give a dramatic touch as if it were a living painting that never fades.
