Red maple dressed in silver crystals

Good morning dear friends and Photography lovers🙌📸

This morning is very similar to the morning these photos were taken. It was a beautiful, sunny, but very cold morning, April 15, 2020.
Five years ago, in April 2015, I was renovating my front lawn and, among other things, I bought a beautiful red maple tree. I planted it in a corner, right at the beginning of the lawn, and I have enjoyed its beauty for years. It has an umbrella-shaped form, an elegant trunk, and a dome-like umbrella at the top of the tree. Its branches curve downwards, it is beautiful.

That morning, April 15, 2020, this happened!

Morning came quietly, dressed in silver crystals.
The air smelled of frost and peace, and the light of the first rays of sunlight slid over the branches of the red maple. I looked at him from the window in terror and thought I could say goodbye to him. I was angry with myself because I knew there would be frost in the morning and that I could have protected him the night before, but I didn't.

The only thing I could do was make coffee, pick up the Olympus and take a picture of it. At least as a keepsake.

Its leaves, still bright red, bore tiny droplets—the frozen tears of Spring.

Each drop sparkled like a jewel, delicately holding the last traces of the previous day's warmth.

After these shots, all I had to do was wait.... And I waited for four hours... But, I saw from afar that I wouldn't lose it, that the fragile and thin leaves were recovering in the sun and as the ice melted, they proudly returned to their original state.

The silence whispered stories about transience, but also about the beauty of a moment that lasts only until the sun rises.

I realized that my beautiful maple is still strong... like a flame that defies the cold.

It's still there today. My grandchildren have slightly disfigured it while playing with a ball, it's not quite a regular dome anymore, but it's there.

This is all for today dear Friends, see you Tomorrow

Wow, your shot is so beautiful, the frost frames each leaf, looking like a glass ornament.
