I got out some of my old tapestries to use as epic backgrounds for my self portraits

I have at least a dozen really gorgeous tapestries. I used to have them hung up on the walls and ceilings back when I lived with my parents. I don't really have the space for that where I am now, so they've just been in storage forever. I do however have an empty wall in my bedroom that is perfect for hanging these things up to use as a background for my photography.

The first of the bunch that I decided to use for my photos was this starry sea sky tapestry. It's full of color and just has such a unique style to it. I love it so much and remember it as one of my favorite tapestries, which makes sense why I went for it first.

When you combine such a busy tapestry with a busy body full of tattoos, it can be a bit overwhelming visually. There certainly is a lot going on in these images, but I still think they look pretty cool.

I look forward to testing out many of my other tapestries to see which ones work best for my photographs. I've got so many that it is not easy to decide which one I will work with next. You know that means there will be many more photos coming of me in the near future. Good thing Liketu is here and I have the perfect place to share them.

I'm getting ready to leave to go see TroyBoi live at the Bluestone in Columbus, OH. I can't wait to share details of how it went. Wish me luck on my travels because I will be doing 2.5 hours of driving by myself twice in less than 24 hours.
