Can you really ever take too many pictures of yourself?

The photos I have to share with you today remind me of what it must have been like to be inside a fancy castle for some reason hundreds of years ago. I think it is because of the iron decorations and hanging candle on the wall.
This however is not a castle, but instead the dining room wall at my parent's house. It doesn't look much like it did when I lived there my entire childhood, but I think it looks far better now. Of course, all of the design credit goes to my mother, which you may have guessed if you've been keeping up with this series of posts the last week or so.
Usually, I prefer color images over grayscale, but this time my favorite photo of the bunch is the only black and white one. I think removing the color further extends that feeling of being inside a castle. I like to imagine that I am on an underground level navigating through a dimly lit corridor that leads to a torture chamber. Maybe I've watched too many movies/tv shows or played too much Elder Scrolls. I can't help where my mind goes.
I've actually never been inside of a castle in real life, so maybe that's why my idea of them is so fanciful. I'm sure my mom wasn't thinking castle vibes when she designed this room either. There's really no explanation why I imagine that's where I am in these photos.
Hope you enjoy seeing more photos of my bald-headed self. There are still two more posts in this series left and I will have more coming after those as well. I take lots and lots of photos, so you can expect to see a lot more here on the Liketu portion of my blog.

NOt at all, I am very lazy to capture my own photos.
It does take some effort to spring into action, but always worth it in the end.
Haha, it seems you are enjoying taking some selfies these days 😁.
Well, who wouldn't if you got a nice place to have some photoshoot
I rely heavily on the tripod and timer so I don't have to take selfies
I can say that I used to take photos of myself many times in past, before selfie was known :) Now it is as it should be ;)
I could remember you once said your mum is a decorator and looking at this iron designs and candles, I can't help but applaude her, no wonder you are thinking like you are in a castle ☺️ because this is a small castle in It world
Decorating seems to be one of her favorite things. She deserves the applause for sure, I'll join in on it with you.
The artworks on your dining looks so good
It is really lovely and like you said, kudos to your mother
She is the best
I have not visited a castle and like you I can only imagine how they are, but knowing that they were built mostly with stones I imagine them very cold.
As for the decoration of the house of your parents, I imagined that the one who decided everything was your mother, it is very rare that a man is in charge of it, there are their cases, but it is rare and more that the decoration is classic or evokes something like what I see there, you men go more to other types of things.

Very cold unless they have a warm fire going. You are right about women being the decorators
Very good. House is so beautifully decorated.

thanks bro!
Well, the castle does look like it has some interesting interiors. Love the artwork and I definitely agree with u that the BnW shot steals the show.
Black and white can be subtle but so powerful sometimes
True that!
I hardly take pictures oo
excellent black and white photo 😉
Thanks!
