Today I wanted to compile a few of my favorite shots over the past couple years into a post!

Monochrome Monday Throwbacks

I've been doing Monochrome Monday for a while now I guess! Lol. That means I've got quite a number of shots in there, some that I've been saving for a while! I don't save all of the shots that I do, I do go back through them and delete some that I don't really care too much about after I post them but there are some that remain in the folder for quite a while, or forever, because I enjoy them so much! I think these are definitely some of those types of pictures!

The one here is a really nice hike the little man and I took 2 years ago. We found this trail and followed it for quite a while and it was leading us through all kinds of stuff with ice and snow melting everywhere, we had quite the adventure! One of the cool shots that I got though was this spot here where the ice was broken but the water was flowing right underneath it. Made for a nice shot, but I really like how it came out in black and white! Funny thing about it as well is this was my old phone, not the new one that I use for most of my pictures these days! Not bad for an old device!

Ah, flipping to a different date and time with this one. The little man and I are always on different adventures, from what folks can see in my various posts throughout the week. With the picture here, we decided that we would try to do some ocean fishing! It didn't go very well, as we didn't catch squat and we ended up getting snagged in the weeds as it was coming in and out with the tide but I guess that's not really surprising for folks, since there wasn't anyone else trying to fish here because it was a bad spot lol.

I did manage to get a few cool snaps of the waves as they were crashing against the rocks! The tide was thankfully going out but we managed to get onto one of the big rock formations that was really far out so that it gave us a lot of cool waves and sights like this!

Ah one of my favorite pictures of all time, taken from my phone! This one was a nice adventure we took last year when we went to the mountains. One of the stops along the way was this cool little lodge along the highway. A perfect waypoint for travelers that are going through the various mountain highways and seeing the beautiful sights. When we stopped here, the little man wanted to get out and stretch his legs and as soon as he saw some water, he made a bee-line for that. We walked across the bridge there and I managed to snag a nice picture of the awesome waterfall there! I've added this picture in color to so many of my posts because I enjoy it so much, there is so much going on here.

We are definitely going to go back to the spot this year again so that we can check it out and explore around the area more than we did in the past!
