"Making Straw Mushrooms Look More Aesthetic"

I found some small mushrooms growing among the haystacks. At first glance, this mushroom looked ordinary, but something caught my attention—its soft pink color and unique texture on its top. I immediately thought of trying something different to make this mushroom look more dramatic and aesthetic in the photo.

I decided to take this mushroom home and started preparing the concept for the photo shoot. I added a little moss as an additional element and chose a black background for stronger contrast. With the right lighting, the details of this fungus begin to emerge more clearly—from the flower-like textured petals to the shimmering effect on its wet surface.

The end result was completely beyond expectations! Mushrooms that initially looked ordinary now looked so adorable, like little creatures from a fantasy world. From several shooting angles, these mushrooms look as if they have their own personalities—some look shy, some seem to be smiling.

This is what I love about macro photography, there is always a way to turn something simple into something extraordinary. What do you think? Does this mushroom look more attractive with a concept like this?

NOTE: I first wrote the article above in Indonesian, which is my own language, then I translated it using English with the help of Goggle.

THIS PHOTO AND WRITING ARE ORIGINALLY MINE, THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN USING A XIOMI NOTE 10 PRO SMARTPHONE CAMERA AND ADDITIONAL MACRO LENSES

Wow, these are amazing photographs! I have never seen this mushroom before, but it is so beautiful and interesting to look at. Mushrooms are quite fascinating and diverse in shape, size and color. This one almost looks like candy. Thank you for sharing!
